Ok, just to recap. My Legacy guy, Zargot, a skin I downloaded of the official site, moved into Strangetown. His NPC why Crystal was at the top of the Mad Scientist career path, lucky me.

Here's Zargot, the house, Crystal, and the 1st upgrade of the house when Crystal moved in with her money.

Zargot and Crystal's first child together was a girl, named Nalla. Nalla was a completely adorable little lizard baby. However, once her father's facial features kicked in when she became a toddler, she's downright scary. Luckily this is Strangetown, so her chances of not getting picked on at school are good.

The first two are her as a baby, so cute!
The next two are her as a toddler.
And the last one is after she became a kid, it really shows off her profile. Ug!

It's going to be interesting to see if after 10 generations, those facial features are still present. Oh, and Crystal and Zargot are currently cooking up #2. They actually had twin boys yesterday (I hate twins!) but the twins got bugged when I took them to the cake for their birthdays. No one could interact with them. Everyone just stood there, for hours and hours waiting for the age transition. Nothing. Finally I had to exit out without saving, which sucked because I hadn't saved in like 3 hours, so I lost a lot. Zargots promotions. Nalla turning into a child. Crystals pregnancy. I need to start remembering to save every so often. Stupid me. :Oo:

Heh, that is an interesting looking child. It certainly will be interesting to see how long it takes for those genes to disappear from the line, of if they will at all. :)

GAH! Why?! Why do I always forget to save? I know this game is buggy! I know I should at least save before and after an age transition. But do I? Do I remember to do that? No! No I don't. So I play for 3 hours straight and have to exit without saving because this game is buggy. AAAARRRRRR! I'm so angry.

Aaaaaaanyway, before the game messed up, and I did actually save it. Zargot and Crystal had a baby boy named Skeet. He, like his sister was an adorable lizard baby who turned into a frightening lizard toddler. I have some great toddler pictures, but after he turned from a toddler to a child, I forgot to save, and then the game bugged out and Skeet suddenly disappeared for no reason. Just Poof! Right out of the house and off of the character bar. So I had to exit without saving which brought me all the way back to Skeet's baby to toddler birthday. Gah!

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. My only concern is that my Sims will be born with a regular skin tone and those weird facial features which, imo, would be a lot freakier than with the lizard skin tone. At least with the lizard skin tone you kind of expect the abnormal face. I'll guess I'll have to hope that Nalla and Skeet pass on the lizard skin tone.

My ultimate hope is that by the 10th generation, I'll have Sims with the lizard skin, but regular facial features. We shall see.

Umm ... I'm not sure I could look at those lizard people for hours while playing! But it definitely makes for some interesting breeding! Good job, Druidgirl!

I'm toying with the idea of turning my own Strangetown into a haven for Sims with various alien skin tones and spotted cheetah skins.

I have just one thing to say about the babies (who are cute like baby turtles are cute; in an ugly sort of way.) Get that kid some skin-rash cream!

So Nalla finally turned into a teen and I had to "roll" for her Aspiration. The Aspiration I dislike the most is Romance, and guess which Aspiration she got? Yeah, that's right, Romance. Oh, well, I knew eventually I'd have to deal with a Romance Sim (I've only intentionally made 2 of my Sims Romance Sims playing my usual neighborhoods).

Zargot is just a few hours from turning into an elder. My plan is not to move the kids out of the house. With Nalla being a Romance Sim I know she's not going to want to get married, so maybe I'll just have Skeet get married and Nalla can provide the friends for promotions. I don't know. Maybe she'll just have a kid with someone but never get married.

I'll post pictures soon. I just don't have time to rename the shots I took this evening.

1. Zargot was heading for work, and Skeet was walking over to a toy. It was cute because they ended up walking side by side. I imagined Zargot saying something like, "Walk tall son, walk proud."

2. Skeet, now a kid, gets beaten by his big sister at a video game.

3. The kids and their mom sit and chat while dad makes breakfast.

4. Nalla reaches those trying teen years. But, she's doing quite well as a Romance Sim. In the first 5 days of teenhood she already has 2 love interests. The girl ain't playin'. Well, actually, yes she is. hehe.

5. Zargot finally makes General. Too bad that hat doesn't fit right.

your family is very interesting and im anxious as well to see what generation 10 looks like!! soo far in my family (which i dont play anymore anyways :cry: ) has gotten to generation 4 and ive had at least 1 if not both kids in the generation my original custom hazel eye color. so im assuming that 6 more generations will also have the eye color. but who knows?? im really interested in seeing your family though! lol, definetly adorable babies lol!

Surprisingly, I'm starting to really grow accustom to the kids' faces. When Nalla first turned into a toddler (after being the cutest lizard baby ever!) I was kind of grossed out. Because she didn't completely have the look of her father, but definitely didn't look human. But now I almost don't notice how different they look.

What's really funny is now that Nalla's a Romance Sim, if a teen comes over they do the Have Attraction animation to Nalla. I just laughed the first time that happened. A teen boy came home with her from school and he stood there and then did the shake his hand in the air while making the cat call whistle and then Nalla's ugly picture showed up in his though bubble. "Ooooh sexy lizard girl." :lol:

Small update. First off, last weekend I got World of Warcraft and I've been playing that like crazy so TS2 has taken a back burner.

Second, I messed up my video card attempting to reinstall and right now I'm too afraid to get into the game to play. Hopefully my computer-knowledgeable friend will fix it this week.

Other than that, the only new thing with my Legacy family is that Crystal turned into an elder, and I added an upstairs. They ran out of money so I couldn't finish the walls, but there's an upstairs now.
