Okay I started my legacy family and I didn't get far.

My family starts with Whitney Houston, a female CAS-created, romance sim. I moved her into a 5X5 lot and she is living out in the open with a bed, a fridge, a stove, a chair, a bookcase, a toilet and a shower. Nothing else. She got a job in the military career.

And that is it for the moment.

I got Whitney married to Abhijeet, another romance sims. He moved in with $14,000 and was a Web Designer. They have a daughter named Mercedes and he is at the top of his profession in the Slacker career.

Now they are living in a 1 story, 4 room flat. They had another girl named her Angelina and Mercedes just turned into a child. Who would have thought that romance sims would want to have children? But right after Angelina was born the bubble keeps popping up for both of them with the pacifer. Another child? Who know I might try for the boy tonight. Abjiheet doesn't look bad with a little shadow around the jawline and goatee. In fact, he is quite cute. Only complaint I have right now is that the daughter, Mercedes that is, have really small lips and her parts don't. Otherwise she looks like your typical Sims kid. Hopefully that will change when she turns into a teen.

Added another room to the house. I am thinking about doing some serious re-designing.

Mercedes is 5 days from being a teen and Angelina is 3 days from being a child. Life is good but they are starting to get boring. So I am going to let the Romance sims do what they do best; woohoo everyone that they can.

WooHoo!!!! Things have really changed in just a few days. Whitney and Abhijeet had another daughter named Penelope. It has been a good turn of events for the Deppiesse family. Whitney and Abhijeet both reached the top of their professions, she was in the Military and Abhijeet was in the Slacker career. They have reached elder status and are still working as well as woohooing every person they can get, ahhhh the live of a Romance Sims. They accumulated $90,000 in chance cards and really redecorated their house.

Mercedes grew up into an adult and married Goopy Gilsbaro, who bought in $14,000 in funds. They had a child named Dennis. Mercedes is a family sims and Goopy is a romance (ugh) sims. He wants to woohoo and she wants another baby. So she is now pregnant with their second child.

Angelina grew up and became an intern and summarily moved out of the house.

Merceds grew up into a teen, she is a wealth sims and asked Kendall Harrington (yes, he is a CAS-made teen from my major family but as she is not going to be the one to carry on the legacy, it's okay) to move in. He bought in $11,479 dollars and they grew up to be a happy couple. He is a romance sims but he hasn't been around much, so I am going to make him propose to her and move them out to carry of the legacy house.

Dennis is just about ready to turn into a child.

Here is the current status of my legacy family.....

So as of last night. I got Penelope and Kendall married. They had a lovely wedding if I do say so myself. They moved out and since I couldn't get Penelope pregnant before moving out, I got Mercedes (the designee to carry on the legacy) pregnant right after they moved.

Whitney and Abhijeet are still alive and kicking and so far saw the marriage of two of their daughters and the birth of two of their grandchildren.

When I get home tonight hopefully I will see the demise and death of both Whitney and Abhijeet.

Okay so here is the latest update.

Goopy and Mercedes had another daughter, Jessica. Dennis is now a teenager and Maguerite is now a child. Mercedes is about to reach the top of the Athletic career and Goopy is 2 levels away from the top of the military field.

Abhijeet and Whitney are still alive and kicking enjoying their families, now that Angelina moved out and Penelope and Kendall are expecting their first child, whom have also moved out.

Abhijeet is now 67 days old and Whitney is 65 days old.

It has been very busy weekend for my Legacy Family. A whole 3 days of work.

Abhijeet and Whitney finally passed on to the greater Sims world in the sky, they went within an hour of each other which was interesting because Whitney was actually 2 days younger and they were platinum. Their youngest daughter, Penelope was a teen at the time. It was a very sad occassion and they received platinum headstones for their efforts.

Goopy and Mercedes made it to the top of their respective careers before passing on to the sims afterlife. They saw their son Dennis marry Nicole Thompson (a townie) and they had two children, Bridgette and Bruce. Bridgette is now a child and Bruce is still an infant. Maguerite married Antoine Colon, another CAS created character and they have a daughter named Maritza. Dennis is a Senator and his wife, Nicole is a counterfeiter. Wonder how that will help his career?

They have accumulated approximately $225,000 in income and without cheating and without hacks. :rah:

Almost had a close one there yesterday. My third generation Sim, Dennis nearly lost his wife yesterday. He married a townie, Nichole Thompson, who worked in the community lot where you buy clothes and she was pregnant with her second child. She was hungry, but not totally in the red. There was a little space left and the hunger desperation warning did not come up. She made breakfast and was putting food on the table but there were some left over dishes. So she walks out to the wedding area that I had made for all the legacy designees to get married and she put the food down. Now she is out of my field of range but I see the rest of the family members (with the exception of the first child, she was an infant). She drops dead on the spot!!! Now I am trying to click on her but nothing is happening and the sigh indicator is coming up for the rest of the family. Dennis saved the day!! Lucky for me she was out in the open so he was able to run up to Grimy and plead for her live. He defeated death and he gave her back. It was soooo close. I know that no one is watching but fair is fair and if he would have lost I would have let her stay dead. She is a greedy fortune sims anyway.

Working on gen 5. Dennis reached the top of the Politics career and Nichole lost her job in the criminal careeer again, that is 2 times during the legacy, and both times I let her take her job back in the same career.

My non-legacy family, Dennis's sister whom married Antoine Colon lost their daughter the other day. I didn't know I had a hacked computer, and well, I let her "Ride the Lightning." Of course, it is a suicide computer and she died, since she was unhappy and not important to the legacy I let her stay dead. I want all the ghosts!!! So now I have 4 old age and 1 electrocution.

Awww shucks. My challenge ended this weekend in the 5th generation. My computer had a major slowdown and I had to reinstall the game. But I am going to restart the challenge with a new family in my newly redesigned neighborhood with less families.

Delays! Delays! and more delays!! It took me 5 hours to re-install and re-download all my stuff from my previous game. Not a fun way to spend an evening mind you.

Thanks. But it wasn't the computer I have been playing since September with no real problem. I think it was because I had so many families in Pleasantview.

Well I am starting up my new Legacy tonight, got everything restored and backed up(this time); so if it happens again I am well prepared.

I will have plenty of time to makeup for losing this family. I am having surgery in 3 weeks and I will be home for 6 weeks, plenty of time to finish the Legacy challenge before University is released.

I started my new Legacy with Isabelle Drake and Brandon Lillard (why, oh, why are most of the townies Romance Sims???)

I created Isabelle as a romance sims, she has a job in the Science career. Brandon is also in the science career but he is at a higher level.

They have 2 children -- Connor who is almost a toddler and Isabelle is pregnant with their second child.

I made a mistake -- Isabelle is a family Sims, not a romance sims. They now have 3 children.

Connor, Kayla and Christian. Christian just turned into a teen and I had to do some major changes in his appearance because he just looked horrid when he changed. Kayla is 5 days from becoming a teen and Christian is still a baby. All the children so far have the mother's hair and Brandon's eyes. Connor inherited Brandon's hideous nose, so far I can't tell with Kayla or Christian.

Well I know one thing for sure, it will be either Kayla or Christian who continues the legacy.

Connor Lilliard married Sophie Miguel and they had two children, Douglas and Trevor. Kayla married Pao Mellon, the mailman, and they have a son named Julius. Christian moved out. Douglas is now a teen and both Julius and Trevor, their mother's were pregnant at the same time, just turned into toddlers.

Brandon died and Angelina is still around helping with her Grandkids. She retired from her job as a mad scientist as soon as she got old enough to receive her pension.

My first set of Legacy Twins.....

Connor - oldest son of Connor and Sophie (Miguel) Lilliard, grandson of Brandon Lilliard married the Gardener, Ericka Jayapalan and they had twins named Kaitlin and Kyle, fraternal not identical. Can't tell much now because they are still infants but I will say they are light like their mother and have her brown eyees.....more to come......

Connor finally passed away. Trevor grew up, working in the Politics career track and married Lucy Hanby, who surprisingly was also a popularity sims. They just had a baby girl, named her Destiny. Kaitlin and Kyle are both teens now and I just got them into private school.

Connor and Ericka are about 8 days from becoming elders and both are thriving in their respective careers, eventhough Connor got bumped back to Judge because of a bad chance card. Just got to make them have a few more friends and he will be back up in no time.

Ericka died in the pool. Yes, I killed her! Wanted to do something new and since killing sims is not against the rules, I let her die. Douglas, her husband, is now engaged to Sandy Burty (who looks very good after a makeover), and they are expecting a baby.

Kaitlin and Kyle are 3 days from becoming adults and Destiny will be a teenager is 2 days. I think I will keep Kaitlin in the house to carry on the legacy since she is already friends with Goopy Gilscarbo and move out Kyle.

Kaitlin is the prettiest child of this legacy thus far. Most of the boys look horrid but the girls are getting prettier with each passing generation. But now it is time for a woman to take over the reigns for awhile; so Kyle is out and Kaitlin is in.

This has been very liberating for me because I let her live her life her way, without the strict social dictates,though she did marry her live-in bf and took his name shortly before their elder transition.(Ok, I'm still traditional.) Her son and his wife produced a beautiful baby girl this morning. I look forward to shaping her life from the cradle. Girls can exciting lives, too.

btw: I do have a life...I enjoy escaping it from time to time with Sims2. :)

Thanks for the comments Sjs. I started my legacy with a female and if I have the power to do it the 10th generation will be started by a female. I am working on my 5th gen now and I decided to let Kaitlin carry on the family, her twin Kyle just moved out. Her cousin, Destiny is still living in the Legacy house with her parents Trevor and Lucy and just turned into a teen, my first wealth sims that was not a NPC. It's going to be hard to fulfill her needs because the house is pretty much furnished lavishly as it is thanks to Sophie Miguel (who married my second gen male sims and she was a fortune sims). The only problem I have is the ghosts -- they are quite rude right now. It seems like every other sims day they wake up and start wrecking havoc. Waking up my sims, turning around the tombstones, you know just being pains. Maybe I will construct a third floor, which I really didn't want to do, and then use those bedrooms for sitting rooms. My house is pretty nice as it is. Think I will wait until I do my memory upgrade next week.

Okay so now I am definitely in my 5th generation. Kaitlin (daughter of Douglas Lillard and Lucy Hanby; the maid) had a little girl named Amber. Unless they have another child, which I am debating, she will be the designee to carry the Lillard family into generation 6.

Douglas is at the top of the Politcal career and Sandy Burty (his second wife, poor Ericka drowned in the pool)is working her way up the ranks of the same career, she is now a judge. Douglas is going to be an elder in about 6 days and Sandy has about 20 days before she turns to an elder. Does the age difference matter? Not really he just wants to have kids and as long as she is willing to comply, he has no problem. I might let her have one more but I don't want to clog my neighborhood with related sims, so I usually let my generation families have 1 or 2 kids and then move one out and let one stay to carry on the legacy. Now that I am getting midway, I might just opt for one child and play them out till they die. Trying to get this challenge completed before University comes out next month.

Have no fears my dears!!!

I did not abandon my legacy just yet. I have been recuperating from Surgery that I had on February 7th and have been so into my legacy that I have not posted what has been going on. But back to the Lilliard legacy.

Douglas married Sandy Burty and had one child, Andrew. I had Andrew move out when he became an adult because there was no way he was going to be part of the legacy. Kyle, his son (he's a twin) moved out of the house when he became an adult and is in the politics career. His brother Trevor married Lucy Hanby and they had a daughter, Destiny. I had them all move out of the house when Destiny became a teen.

Kaitlin moved in Randy London and ended up marrying him. They had two children Amber and Justin. Amber romanced and married Orlando Centowski and Justin married Amy Jones. Amber had two children, Autumn and Austin. Autumn is in the Science field and Austin has already elevated to the top of the law enforcement field. Justin married Amy Jones (the mailgirl) and they had one child, Penelope. I also moved them out.

Amber's daughter Autumn married Joe Carr, a fortune sims and Austin married Melissa Fancey, a romance sims. Now I have pretty much left the drama out of the challenge but now that I am going into the 7th generation, I decided to start some up. Autumn had three children with Joe -- Jayden, Phoebe and Stephan. Both Jayden and Phoebe are teens and are in private school. Stephan just turned into a toddler. Austin and Melissa are the ones having problems. Austin was debating whom to marry; Melissa Fancey or Marissa Bendett and ended up marrying Melissa. Melissa met Mitch (the fireman) soon after starting a fire while trying to cook and struck up a friendship with him. Ohhh, she was bad. She used to sit there and gossip with Mitch about how she tricked Austin into marrying her (I am serious whenever you let them gossip the broken rings would show up followed by Austin's picture and they would start laughing). Well she romanced Mitch, even when she was pregnant and shortly after giving birth to Marcus (the son she had with Austin) she got caught cheating with Mitch. Well Austin threw her out of the house and she soon hooked up with Mitch after getting her own place. Marcus took it kind of hard but he turned out to be a good kid, after being showered with love by his father, Aunt and Uncle and cousins. Austin, though he still has feelings for Melissa, has decided to move on and is now engaged to Brandi LeTourneau. They have moved out of the legacy house with Marcus and have their own digs. Brandi is pregnant with their first child.

Only three more generations to go.......

Autumn and Joe had one more child; Ariel who is now a teen and just went off to college. Jayden, Phoebe and Stephan went to college. Jayden was the first to join the Tri-Var fraternity and then inducted Phoebe. Jayden got engaged to Ivy Copur while in college. They both graduated on the Dean's List. Ivy graduated first and went to live with his family while he finished college; his major was psychology and her major was art. Jayden got a job in the paranormal field and is now an Exorcist. Ivy got a job in the acting profession and is now a Supporting Player, she took a couple of breaks in her career to have children. They had three children -- all girls -- Bethany, Fiona and Angelique. Bethany is a teen, Fiona is a child and Angelique is still just a baby. Ivy had the headmaster come over and Ariel, Bethany and Fiona all got into private school.

Autumn died but Joe resurrected her with the help of the resurrection aspiration reward. Autumn has retired as a scholar and Joe is still working as the CEO (or whatever the highest ranking in the business field is). Autumn thanks to her resurrection is now 64 sims days old and Joe; unfortunately is 77 sim days old.

Generation 8 -- Bethany is now a teen and on her way to college. Fiona will be a teen in 4 sim days and Angelique is about to turn into a toddler. I think I will let Angelique carry on the legacy into generation 9.

Moving on and still on generation 8.

Joe Carr died at the age of 82 sim days. I did not resurrect him. Autumn, whom I did resurrect is slowly aging, she is now at 59 sim days and is having an scorching affair with Don Lothario. I will not permit him to move in. I have plans for him.

Their children have all almost grown up. Bethany and Fiona are at University and Angelique is engaged to marry Castor Nova (he's one of the frat boys from University). She met him through her father who is friends with him from their University days. But the interesting thing is that Castor was dating Angelique's Aunt but they never got engaged. The fourth daughter is days from becoming a teen and will go on to university. Jayden, the father, is at the top of the paranormal career path whereas Ivy (copur) is still struggling up the ladder in the Entertainment path. Jayden and Ivy both are days away from becoming elders. So I am trying to get Angelique and Castor married so they can start having children and move into Generation 9 but Castor can't move in until he graduates, or so it seems. He is now a junior, on the Dean's list and the frat house is flourishing though it needs new members.

Two more days and generation 9 will be in the making.....

It's been a busy month for the Lilliard Family.

Ivy and Jayden are both elders. All of their daughters are in college with the exception of Angelique, who stayed home and ultimately married Castor Nova. They had 3 girls, Ileana, who is at University now, Ingrid who just turned into a teen, Peyton who is a child (about 4 days from becoming a teen) and a son, Ryan, who just turned into a child.

Ivy and Jayden are both seniors, age 70 sim days. Jayden retired from the paranormal career at the top and is collecting $675.00 per day in his pension, Ivy still works, she brings home $5,022 per day.

Castor is working his way to his lifetime aspiration of becoming a criminal mastermind and though Angelique is still working, she is trying to attain her lifetime aspiration of marrying off 6 children.

And so the saga goes...

Ivy and Jayden both died at the ripe old age of 77 and 82 years respectively. I had to bring Jayden and Joe Carr back from the dead because I got that stupid bug where they wouldn't leave the family screen even after they died. So I had to slow down the age progress of generations 8 and 9 so they would die. Yeah for the Elixir of Life!!!

Angelique and Castor had two more children -- Keira who is now a teen and Josh who is 4 days from becoming a teen.

Ingrid, the Novas (Angeliue and Castor) second daughter, married the fireman, Neil LeTourneau and they just had their first child -- Paige. Generation 10 has now started.

Is my saga complete??? No, I like this family so I have made them made main family and will continue the generations after I get all these people graduated from college and moved to Pleasantview. All of the original frat brothers have graduated and moved on. Ashley Pitts, Castor Nova (who married into my legacy family) and the other two have all successfully graduated Sim State University. The frat is now being run by Dirk Dreamer who is just about to graduate and Dustin Broke, who is also ready to graduate.

ahhh, the fun just continues.
