Ok I had some type of glitch to where the first child where the first child born became non controllable. I tired every thing. Moving the whole family out of that lot and then moving them back, tried a different lot and still didn’t work. I even had the mother and the child move out and move them back into the house hold and that didn’t work either.

So, if create the child using Body shop and use TS2 enhancer to put him back into the family. Would that be considered cheating if it is used to try and fix the glitch and keep him in the game and just create some type of story to give reason to his long absence?

Have you tried just ignoring the child and having the social worker take him/her? Otherwise you could create a sim and have them become friends w/the family and have them move in and then move out w/the child and then have them lose the child to the social worker and then have your legacy family adopt him/her back into the family. Then maybe you can either delete the sim you created or whatever. I don't consider this cheating since it's being done to clear up a bug. You can always go into TS2E to take the 20k that the created sim brings in out of the family's acct after you get the child back. Another idea is just killing off the child (drowning maybe?) and go on from there.
