With the additions of new Sims3 forums, there may be some confusion about what you should post and where. We do have a variety of Sims3 forums here, so certain questions/topics are more appropriate for those other forums. Here is a quick guide to help you decide which Sims3 forum you should be posting in...

Sims3 General Discussion -- general information about the game, features, gameplay, etc. Please use the Mac tag if you are asking a Mac-specific question.

Sims3 Help Forum -- technical issues with your game (crashing/freezing, downloads not installing, graphics going wonky, won't install properly, inquiring if your computer specs meet requirements, etc)

Sims3 Wishlist -- content or features you would like to see in the game or ideas for future expansion packs

Sims3 Sim-a-lot Forum -- discuss building techniques and show off what you have built

Swatch This Way -- a forum devoted to making and showing off patterns

In the Mood for Mods -- a forum to discuss and show off your hacking/modding skills

Sims3 Create A Sim -- a forum devoted to discussing and showing off the various aspects of the Create A Sim area of the game. If it has to do with a CAS part -- clothing, shoes, make-up, hair, accessories, and even full Sims, then this is where you want to be.

Sims3 Create A World -- a forum to discuss and show off the worlds you have made with the EA Create A World tool

Sims3 Custom Content Lost & Found -- a place to ask where you can find a particular item or theme, or to ask about a particular site but you cannot remember the site name

Sims3 Community Site Updates -- this is the place to announce any updates to your Sims3 sites
