Apparently TSR Workshop does not like the new game patch. Since the patch downloaded this afternoon, I can't get Workshop to open. I get this error...

Unable to read beyond the end of the stream

I updated the Sims3 today morning. After updating the game, I encountered the error screen and malfunction of the workshop whenever I launched it.
I am not sure this error only belongs to my computer. But I think everything should be confirmed for sure.

:( At me this problem too!
Probably the reason in that that SIMS3 at me install on disk D. In the last version there was an opportunity to specify a way to directory SIMS3 independently.

I agree with Ebonleif. I haven't updated yet and now decided not to do so until all errors with TSR Workshop are fixed.

New version works great so far but it wont let me browse the texture libraries...gives me the same error it was giving before the update :( and closes out on me...On the bright side, it's forced me to learn how to create my own textures lol!

We'll have an update available today (thursday). As a rule of thumb, keep at least 1 or 2 older versions handy in case we run into unexpected bugs.

I used the new workshop and created my first pair of shoes and it worked last night.

Now I've been trying to make a second new mesh with the slingback peep toe heels. When I exported the finished product and installed it, nothing appeared in game. And sometimes when I would try to load this project it would crash. The second time I tried to install it, it also crashed the game. I even tried to install it as just a package and when I did nothing appeared in game.

I followed the tutorial and did everything correct, I don't know why It's happening and hopefully it can be fixed with the update today because I really worked hard on the shoes and it'd be a shame to never get to play with them.

Hi, i'm having probs with the new updated version of Workshop, i'm trying to make a cardigan and keep getting the same error as rookie, "smartexceptionscore" and then it comes up with a error report "object reference not set to an instance" when I try to change the fabric on the cardigan i'm making. Workshop was working fine for me before. :)

Hello. I've been internet-deprived for two whole days.:Oo:
Turns out my router/modem got fried and the tech replaced it for free.
But I have a problem now. When I go into the pattern designer and click on Upload to TSR absolutely nothing happens.
Should I try to re-install the workshop? Or is there something else that I might be missing.
I was trying to upload when my internet went down the last time. (It went up and down several times.)
If anyone could give me a hand with this I sure would appreciate it.
I can upload it to the file storage, but then it is a sims3pack and not a s3wpack and I think this makes a difference?
Thanks in advance.:)
