I was about to download the update from Wednesday so I can wait for this update then? Or have you already updated it today?

I've tried many new projects, but when I have successfully exported my new shoe mesh as a sims3package, and installed it with the launcher, the game crashes. I don't understand what the problem could be though, I have no mods, and someone else has successfully used the same shoe mesh to create custom shoes as seen here http://www.thesimsre...hoes/id/899315/

Answer: Developers unable to keep time schedules! Sorry everyone, the fix is pushed back yet another day. I need to pull out my whip it seems!

2) If the preview actually DOES look ok in the workshop after editing it's completely warped and distorted when imported to game.
I've been tinkering and trying to figure out this program for 10 strait hours and nothing has worked for me yet - even with the tutorials.
OS: Windows Vista

Didn't want to double post but I couldn't see where I could edit previous post.
I'm still facing the same problems with the heels and this time I'm posting images like the guy had asked.
Nothing appeared in game when I installed my the modified peep toe mesh:
http://img6.imagesha...ingappeared.jpg :(
These heels CRASHED my game when installed:

I exported the finished files and installed them via launcher and those were my results  I really hope whatever this problem is could be fixed.
*NOTE* This is with using the New updated version of TSR workshop that was released today I downloaded it about an hour ago.

I successfully modified a TS3 mesh (just made it a bit longer), but when I tried to re-import the multiplier after altering it in Photoshop, I got the error message "Error when loading preview. Index was outside the bounds of the array". The Preview window showed as solid black, and my recoloured multiplier was not applied to the mesh. I Googled the error message and although I was not able to find a solution, it appears to be a Net Framework error message to do with SQL Server.
As an experiment, I then tried using a standard unmodified mesh and just exporting and re-importing its own default multiplier, so nothing was changed in either the mesh or the texture, yet still got the same error message, so I know it's not the fact that I'm trying to recolour a modified mesh that's causing the problem.
It's really frustrating as the mesh came out well and I was able to install it in my TS3 game and recolour it in CAS, but I want to use my own textures rather than having it be a solid block of colour.

Trying to run it when game has been updated.
I only seem to get the error when I run it on my dad's Windows Vista laptop.
When I updated it (3 days ago) on our Windows XP desktop computer, I ran TSR workshop this morning, and it worked fine.
I can not seem to run it on Windows Vista. I am getting the error "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream." When I check "Ignore this error and attempt to continue.", It opens up to the project editor and I can't do anything.
I hope you can fix this soon! :)

On the Main Page, then under the Downloads Tab, then Under the Programs Tab - or - here is link:

TSRAA Member - check if it is TSRAA or not. Some items I recolor are meshes that are not TSRAA.

After much experimenting, I've now found the solution to this, and hope this helps others who I know have said they're having the same problem: when re-importing your retexture/recolour .DDS file, save it with the 'Generate Mipmaps' option. The other tools I use for recolouring specify saving with NO mipmaps, but TSRW apparently requires them! It's all working well now.

then where is the first programe to download? For this was the one I downloaded! This was the first time I saw this to download! I still want this and will not install for reasons the installer could not finish the install cause of missing something? So what is wrong with that down load and installing! Thanks!

Every time the tech boys post a new version of Workshop, it will be right here . They remove the older version and put up the newer version.
If you had just the Pattern Tool, you will need to uninstall that before you can install the Workshop. The newer versions of Workshop have integrated the Patten Tool into the program, so you do not need the separate Pattern Tool anymore.
