Can anyone please help me by guiding me through how to place downloaded houses into sims 1. I have a few expansions installed but dont have unleashed or superstar. I have tried several times to install the houses (which are compatable with my expansions) but they never show so i am obviously putting them in the wrong place. Many thanks in advance. pcarr92153

Each neighborhood in your game has its own UserData folder that contains the houses/lots, families, and Townies for that neighborhood. UserData is for Neighborhood 1, UserData2 is for Neighborhood 2 and so on. Downloaded houses go into the Houses folder of the UserData folder for the neighborhood you want the house to be in. So, if you wanted to have the house in Neighborhood 1, you would place it in the C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\UserData\Houses folder. If you wanted to have it in Neighborhood 2, then it would go into the C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\UserData2\Houses folder.
