My sim, Kazuki, is in the Ghost Hunter profession and he's been promoted up to "Creep Seeker". He's been getting the opportunities like "Spooky Props" and "Spirit Donation", but no low-level jobs to get them. The only jobs he's receiving are Ghostly Presence and Angry Ghost, or whatever the other one is called. I've tried banishing the ghosts to raise my spirit count, but it doesn't. Is there anything I can do?

Don't you need to collect them, instead of banish them?

Yeah, but the only way to collect them is to use the Banshee Banisher on them. When I do, they don't show up in my inventory. That's my problem. ;-;

You can collect them on Spirit Invasion or Poltergeist Haunting jobs. You then get the spirits in the containers that can be used for opportunities or saved. If you check my minisite, see below, you will see that my family is collecting all the spirit types.
If need be have another family member or 2 do some GH jobs, as they seem to get these types most often early in their careers. Once caught, they can be moved to the inventory of the Sim where they are needed.

So they can still get them; it's just not as often. Gotcha. =) I think I'll enlist his girlfriend Ciel's help in getting the spirits he needs. Thanks! 8D

The novices always start out with the spirit invasions and then seem to get the poltergeist ones next .... or have so far in my game for about 4 GH Sims I have played. I now send them out only on those jobs as all I want at this point is to collect about 2 more types of spirits to complete the family collection, as far as I know.
