I have the Ambitions expansion, and one of my sims is an inventor that has a time machine. Twice now he has traveled to the past and brought back a child with him. Has this happened to anyone else? And is it normal?
I just think it's random and kindof funny that he comes back out of the time machine with an oprhan that gets added to the family as if it were his biological kid.

Yes, that is a random event. It happened to my sim but I didn't like it because then she was stuck with a child I didn't even plan for. :)

Oh! I forgot! As far as I know that isn't an orphan but your sim's child from an affair they had in the past...or something like that. :wacko:

Yes, I kept the child. She was added to the family. It actually happened twice to me, once with my original sim and once with my original sims son. All of this was within about 1-2 sim weeks.

I bet I have sent Sims into the family time machine at least 50 times now and have gotten no sims and no gnomes. :(
