Hi,
When I open up Milkshape, and try to import, I simply do not have TSRW Object in my list thus cannot import.
Now I read all the other Milkshape + plugin related threads, but my problem is, that the suggestions given there do not work cause I already have the newest Milkshape (1.8.5 BETA 1), which is registered, and the newest TSR workshop (2.0.15.0) and put msAlignNormals.dll & msExtendedManualEdit.dll in C:> Program Files (x86)> Milkshape 3D 1.8.5 (the root, where they should be placed, right?).
Which means it should work, yet it doesn't, to my great confusion (and frustration).
How do I get it to work?
Many thanks,
Leonie

P.S:
I tried to upload a DXdiag, but it said it was an invalid file type :(

Hello .. you need to export your High Level of Detail and Low level of detail meshes from work shop in a folder.. then when you import TSRW object you will have your "high level of detail" to import.. you can then modify this ... here are some tutorials which may help you:cause I'm not good at explaining :)

Have you put the Export and Import plug-ins that come with Workshop into your Milkshape folder so Milkshape can recognize the wso format? If not, look in your Program Files/The Sims Resource/TSR Workshop folder. There will be a folder titled Extras. Click on that to reveal a folder titled Milkshape Plugins. There you will find 2 files -- msTSRWorkshopExport.dll and msTSRWorkshopImport.dll. Copy those files and paste them into your Milkshape 3D 1.8.5 folder.

Thank you so much, this worked.
I feel like such a dork, I went to the plugins map and looked at the Milkshape map, it was not there, so I went to the Extra's map, and there it was :o
