Sims 1 issues

I have all expansions except deluxe, double deluxee, and makin magic.
When i play then game everything works until i go into a house then this happens. http://img213.images...202941918xc.jpg how can i fix this without using windowed mode?

Ahh...the bugginess of Superstar rears its head again. ;) Graphical tearing like this is a very common problem associated with the Superstar expansion pack.

Can you please post a DxDiag of your computer specs? You can find directions for that here. The specs of your computer, especially the video card information, will determine the course of action.

Just as I suspected...You have an onboard graphics chip, not a dedicated video card. While the base game for Sims1 and the expansion packs up until Superstar would run fine with onboard chips, Superstar upped the graphics requirements so those with onboard chips will experience graphics issues. If you can afford it, the best solution would be to buy a video card. Because Sims1 is an older game that does not require complex rendering, you can find less powerful video cards at a decent price. If you cannot afford a video card, you can try updating your video drivers at the Nvidia site to see if that helps at all -- http://www.nvidia.co...aspx?lang=en-us
