Hello there, I am interested in renaming some skins and heads so I can use them in my regular game??

They are from Around the Sims http://aroundthesims...npc/npc_02.html and they're really cool, with 3D accessories (hawaiian garland, necklace, flowers in the hair)
Also, there is an extra long haired head mesh from Frilly Sims that I have never seen before!
Could any one advise me on how to rename these successfully??

The good news is that you do not have to do any renaming at all. They are already named correctly for regular use in your game. All Sandy did with those was to use regular skins to make a replacement NPC using the program NPC Replacer. If you just want the skins and not a new NPC, then don't use the NPC_Vacation files.

So only install the skin files and not the NPC labelled file, I will try this, thanks Frisbud!! ^_~

By the way Frisbud, do you know how to configure winzip to extract the files straight into the skins folder, and not create a seperate folder for every skin? Thanks!!

What version of WinZip are you using?

Hi Frisbud, I'm using winzip 11.1. I got the skins to work in the game! The frilly sims one has a messed up family portrait photograph though, it's a shame!!
Does anyone know the option to choose so that winzip doesn't make a new folder for each item extracted? Thankyou!!
