Anyways, lets get right to the down and dirty.
It's 1:18 in the morning and an idea just blossomed at the back of my mind. I was thinking about starting a legacy based on these rules (I've read them over tons of times)
http://forum.thesims...list/39862.page
My founder will be Sasha Striker. The name of my legacy will be 'A Striking Legacy' ;) It will take place in Bridgeport since I haven't completely played throughout the neighborhood. As said in the rules, I must purchase a large lot worth $14,700, leaving me with only thirteen hundred dollars to build a house with. That is good for a legacy so I can start out crappy and build my way up the chain to a lovely house. (I'd say I have moderate building talents) No ambrosia may be used to resurrect dead sims.
I have one alteration, though. Instead of having 10generations, I will only be having 5! 10 is just too much for my taste. I couldn't play the same save file for that long, anyway.
If a child is born I must select the random trait button for this is a rule I actually accept.
SO, to summarize this up, "early poverty is a hallmark of the challenge. A large plot of land not only drains the available cash from your starting funds, it gives you the ability to build some epic sized legacy homes as you play through the generations and get more wealth."
If I think of anymore alterations I'll make sure to post them.
So, I am asking you, lovely TSR community - could you keep an eye out on my legacy chapters to make sure I keep with these rules? I am basically wondering if you'd be interested in reading such a story made by the wondrous sims 3. Yes or no, should I create A Striking Legacy?
Thanks.:)

I've moved your thread to the TS3 - Community Challenges forum, where you'll see that others are also playing and writing about their legacy families. :) TSR has a few guidelines about stories/challenges posted on its forums, which you'll find stickied to the top of this forum.

Honestly, writing a legacy is something that you should do for you, not for anyone else. If you aren't doing it for yourself, then it won't hold your interest. :)
