When I turned on the game launcher just now, it had an ad for an expansion pack, Pirates & Nobles, which is coming out in August. The official web site has a trailer, too.

Oooooh! Thank you both. I haven't played for a little while, real life got in the way a bit, plus I've been re-acquainting myself with Sims 2 - fallen in love all over again :D

I was watching the trailer with my mouth wide open - it looks fantastic. And only a month and a half to wait for it - yippee or ooooh arrr  Gosh, that's really something to look forward too.

I am patiently waiting for my expansion pack - Pirates and Nobles. UPS delivers here in Canada until 7 pm. I really want to see it.

I got it today and am already on my second quest with the new theme. Looks like it will be a fun addition to the game.

I stayed up all night playing it. I had to build a new kingdom for it (ok, I timed it that way, so I can enjoy all the new features). I think the bird may drive me crazy, but at least this version of digging works!

The new clothes are a little over the top for my liking. Definitely more towards the noble end of things, not something a new queen/king would wear when they have little money. But so far it's making the same old quests a little more interesting. Especially those long winded responsibilities!
