Something hit me last night during a bachellor party: Maxis sims seem to generate or trigger 'events'. I play hoods with my own sims. They rarely hang out with the townies. I throw party after party with nothing out of the ordinary. Last night I threw a bachellor party and invited Angel Lobos. He got pissy, threw a fit and then stormed off.
He was dead before he reached the front gate, then of course, death shows up - everyone is all 'whoa' It was one of those moments where everything just hits the fan - all I could do was sit back and laugh.
Other thing I noticed: These bachellor/ette parties seem to allow for more guests and last a long, LONG time. That's how Lobos got into the party, I had all my sims invited and was like 'ya ok, whatever, you can come too'
After he died, everyone looked at the stone for a moment then went right back to drinking and dancing - and the party lasted til 12:30 the next afterooon when the last person dragged themselves out the front gate.
Looking back now at all my games, it's always been that stray townie that either crashed my party I went to their and things got crazy. I'll usually reload if a sim dies but when it sparks that much pandemonium, its totally worth it.
One time some woman (some townie) with a family died at my party and I took the next two weeks of my sims time to bring her back to the science area, level gardening, and fishing, made her ambrosia and moved her back in with her family. That was awesome.
Just noticed something (Long)
