Hi All

I applied the latest patch about a week or so ago. I did not have Generations at that time. Today, I bought Generations OnLine and downloaded it via Origin.

I received a message saying that my version of the Sims 3 was more recent than Generations, and that I would have to go online and look for updates (or something like that) before I could play the game.

The launcher says that my game is up to date. I palyed for about 1/2 hour and it seems to be running OK.

Does amyone know if I should repatch? If so, where would I go to get the patch? When I patched last time, it was via the launcher, and it says that I dont need to update anything, and doesnt give me the option to patch anything.

Thanks

You can get the latest patch at SimPrograms. But if the launcher says you're up-to-date, re-installing the patch will just get you a message saying that 'the patch is already installed, do you want to proceed with installation?' and ultimately will do nothing for you.

I had the same problem, and I did install the patch again manually. Even though my launcher said I was up-to-date when I installed it manually it did install it and it didnt say 'the patch is already installed, do you want to proceed with installation?' So it might be worth a try ;) Make sure your orgin is up-to-date first....

Thanks all. Just to be safe I did the re-install. Not sure if it made any difference, but I guess it didn't hurt anything.
