I just got Generations and TL Stuff which I plan on installing this weekend. I have read the sticky about preparing for a new EP....this is my question: I just did a total reinstall of my Sims 3 games (Base, AMB, NL, HELS) and I have not played any games or created any sims/families (I haven't had much time to play) I have been adding back in my CC which are hairs, Skintones, Makeup, clothes, accessories and patterns...NO OBJECTS. I DO have the AWT Slider hack and the no mosaic hack installed. I do have the most recent download for AWT slider hack for 1.24 but I probably will have to get an updated no mosaic hack.
Because I don't have any saved games or sims/families, is it necessary to move my sims 3 folder out and let it install to a clean game? I don't have anything to lose because I haven't played.
Preparing for a new EP ?

The problem isn't going to be your saved games so much as your hacks. Most hacks need to be updated when you get a new EP because the patch level changes.
