Hey hey...
I'm not a designer so if I am saying something impossible or insulting please don't flame me.
I have downloaded a number of designer fences. Lovely things that lend a real plus to any lot. The only problem I have (most times) is there is no gate that matches the fence. Usually it is a color problem. As an example (not to single anyone out!!), the Victorian Style Fence Hartland has a lovely shade of blue to it. I have yet to run across a gate that comes even close.
So what am I saying? Please please if it is possible for you great designers to make a matching gate (style and color) to the wonderful fences you offer to us.
Thanks :)

Many of the gates can be recolored which is good news.

You can also just drag the color blue you liked from the fence to the gate, but they still might not match up completely. You open up the fence so you can pick another color or texture, and just click on the color you want and drag it to the gate. If there's many channels and you want them all, you can just drag the hole set of colors over. If the channels are not the same they might be mixed up. Then you can just change the place of the colors.

As Volvenom said, you can simply drag and drop an objects color scheme on another object. You only need to klick on the recolor/restyle button and grab the style panel on the left top where the 3 vertical dot is and move it on the object you want to recolor.
I always do this with windows and doors. But as Volvenom said in some cases you won't get the same look becouse some objects have differnt no. of patterns in that case the best is if you look at the style of the fence and apply the styles manually on the gate by changing all the patterns/colors.
