Hi everyone! Here is my new medieval world. Hope you will have an interest. This world was made without the Pets update or Pets EP. I tried to include all the info on the world. Let me know if you have any questions. For those playing Pets, this world plays fine with the EP.

Dracul Isle
Come play this beautiful medieval world full of quaint little peasant villages, grand castles and bustling shires of trade. Enjoy the rolling hills and forests, the sandy beaches and the grassy green meadows of Dracul Isle where peasants, nobles and lords share a quiet life in peace. Or do they? It seems these medieval folks have suffered through their own dark ages when certain sinister strangers came to their peaceful little island long ago in the shadowy night. Does one dare go to the far side of the island? Perhaps, only the brave and the curious will venture beyond that old rickety bridge to find out what really lies beyond. Will that be you?

Key areas:
Three Small Peasant Villages-
each peasant village has the usual community and residential lots as listed. There are several empty lots for building as well. All base game spawners included.

Peasant lots: All homes fully furnished. (51 lots)
Peasant Dwelling I-20x30_Peasant Dwelling II-20x3_Peasant Dwelling III-20x30_Peasant Dwelling IV-25x25
Peasant Dwelling V-30x20_Peasant Dwelling VI-20x20_Peasant Dwelling VII-30x20_Peasant Dwelling VIII-20x20_Peasant Farm I-40x30_ Peasant Farm II- 40x40

Castles: Four fully furnished castles.
Cornwall Castle- 60x60 Dracul Castle- 60x60
Braxton Castle-60x60 Camelot Castle- 60x60

Shires: There are 3 centralized locales full of community services, job opportunities and entertainment.
Seaport Shire-60x60 (Fully Furnished)
Pub, Diner, Real Estate Office (business/journalism), Inventor's Studio, Grocery store, Game corner, Doctor's Medical Clinic, Art Studio, Spa, Art Studio, Public Stables and Restrooms.
Belfast Shire-60x60
Theater, Pub/Bar, Diner, Police Station, Book Store, Grocery Store, Game Corner, Sculpture Studio, Spa, Library with a wedding chapel and reception area, Public Stables and Restrooms.
Buckingham Shire-60x60
City Hall, Diner, Bookstore, Grocery, Pub, Science Lab, Music Theater, Spa, Music Shoppe, Game Hall, Public Restrooms and Stable.

Community lots: There are many community lots scattered all over the island that meet the needs of the peasants and nobles. Sims can slum in the beach area or travel to the finer part of the island for trade, business, entertainment or jobs.

Barnsley Antique Shoppe, Bristol Tattoo & Style Shoppe,Brighton Pool,Brita Pond, Cheshire Park, Croydon's Inn, Darby Shipping Yard (junkyard),Debtor's Prison, Dracul Academy of Fine Arts, Dracul Academy Park, Dracul Academy Fishing Hole, Dracul Isle Cemetery, Dracul Country Church, Dracul Isle Fire Brigade, Dracul Fish Hatchery, Dracul Winery, Earl Pond, Eston Fishing Hole, Glen Pond, Leeds Village Wash n' Dry, Little Eden Pond, Norwick Lighthouse (dance club), Peasant Playground I, Peasant Playground II, Peasant Playground III, Peasant Playground IV, Seaport Cemetery, Seaport School, Seaport Village Rest Area,
Sheffield Art Gallery, Sir Lancing Sports Arena, Shakespeare Theatrical Troope, Wheaton Martial Arts Academy, Wigon Pool

Gypsy Camp- 60x60
Located on the far side of the island is a camp of several Gypsy wagons. The colorful wagons form a circle for privacy with a small well in the center of the camp. There is a fenced-in stable for the stock and a small pond for fishing. The camp is surrounded by a gated fence for privacy. And unbeknownst to any curious travelers who might venture into the camp, this area is taboo to just any peasant or lord. Take heed! There could be some strange goings-on just beneath their weary feet. Beware!

Requirements:
Base game, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Outdoor Living Stuff Pack (must have for lantern lights to show in world), Fast Lane Stuff Pack, and Riverview Free World.

Instructions: You will need the Jinx door for the movie lot to work. You may find it at ModtheSims. Please download the Pet Fixed Rabbit hole rugs by Carzarupt at TSR for the community lots or you may use the Jinx rugs at MTS.

Thanks, everyone. I hope you will have an interest in my beautiful new world. Hugs, Judy

This looks amazing! You created this world by yourself? :o I can't imagine the amount of work that had to go into this! You did a great job getting everything to match the theme perfectly - I'm particularly fond of the Seaport Shire :D Also, I've never seen the dirt roads before, did you create them specifically for this project?

Oh, Thanks so much, Sim man. Yes, I did the roads myself. You can do it in CAW with their textures. I'm thrilled you like the theme and the shires. The sims seem to love going to the shires for their business and needs. They can do many things and never leave the lot. I tried to take the world from onery sailors and peasants to the more affluent, lords and nobles with the lots and shires. It was a huge job and it took me six months to build it from the ground up. Or should I say lump of green clay up. :D This world was build before Pets, but since I have installed Pets and it plays fine. The animals look at home in the rustic environment. I appreciate your comments. Have a great week. Hugs, Judy

Here are some more pics of some of the community lots and houses. I did use the EA Hatchery and remodeled it some. I will try to add some more later: :D

This is so delightful! I can't even bring myself to create new homes on empty lots, I just want to populate the world with sims and play! (and of course, the first character I made was Roger the Shrubber... ;) ) Is there any chance of you creating the various pets buildings, so they fit in with your wonderful world?

I really like this world. I was looking for a Sims 3 Veronaville, but I think this world would be equally as welcome, and clearly a lot more playable. Once I wrap up a few of my stories I'll be establishing some characters here. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Hi Tily! I'm so glad you like the world. That is the fun of it. Making some Sims to populate your hood. I dressed mine in the medieval outfits. What buildings do you need? I know there is a 64x64 lot that has the hatchery on it that can be used for the Equestian Center or you can use the gyspy camp lot for the Center. Let me know what other buildings you want and I will see what I can do. I would have placed some already in the world before releasing it, but I did not have Pets then. Again, thanks for your interest.

You are so welcome. It is always most inspiring when someone gives you great feedback on the world. Yes, it took six months of hard, hard work, but it was fun doing it. Well, most of the time, sometimes there was some ranting and raving. LOL Hope you enjoy it. :D

hmmm, forgive me if i sound silly, but what IS the hatchery? (which EP or SP?)

as for buildings I'd like, the equestrian center and the pet shop mostly, but it would be neat to see what you did for the dog park, cat park, and horse.. umm.. park... (for practice jumping)

My poor sim has been moving and moving and moving, just so I can see the various buildings.. it is jaw-droppingly beautiful =)

The hatchery is the lot needed for the angler career (fishing). There are little fishing pools all over it. You can move the hatchery to your library and place the Equestian lot there if you like. The pet shop is a rabbit hole that was extra with the special Pets Edition, I think. you can place that yourself on a lot where it will fit. I might build some of these other buildings later on, but frankly, I am burned out on the medieval lots right now. LOL There are some small empty 20x20 lots that you could build some small parks on or replace a community or residential lot with your own. I am so thrilled you are liking the world and finding it beautiful. I put a lot of time into terrain painting and adding the landscaping. Six months, in fact. lol I wish Pets had come out before I built the world, so I could have included all the Pets lots, but they can be worked into the world. It is perfect for the animals, I think. Have fun and hope you will recommend it to your friends. :D

Already have, lol. Your world has actually interested my fiancee enough that he "kinda" wants to play now... which I think is great! The hatchery now makes sense, I even have that, but I never put 2 and 2 together- whoops!

Oh, thanks for recommending it. I sure wish I could get my husband interested in playing my world and the Sims. :D It would be such a good stress reliever for him. And I know he would love the building part the most or even CAW. Do you use the medieval clothing for your sims? I wish we had a horse drawn wagon and the cars did not appear, but it is what it is. I don't mind the cars so much anymore because I am too busy looking at the scenery and stuff. LOL Well, tell your fiancee to go for it and have fun. Thanks for your interest.

Had a chance to download and look this over a bit and I can see that you really did spend a lot of time on the terrain painting and landscaping as some places are very well done. There are some very nice vistas from a few places.

I appreciate your download, Lee. I'm glad you like what I did with the world. :D It was a lot of fun to create and thanks for the feedback.

btw WOW I entirely enjoy your work here. This is what my sims characters are all about- living the way it was before. It's so wonderful to still be able to "play" in this piece of time. I make my own worlds too, but they get better as they go, because I can never sit down and do one world. I just compile my creations, and someday I'll make a grand masterpiece just as you did. EA should hire you; there are so many great artists out there that they need to grab up.

Have a great day!

Since I've started playing, I know how you make the vine thingies now. VERY awesome and creative, I have to say. Still, is it CC cowies?

Hello there, Kiddie. Thanks for all the nice comments on Dracul Isle.  Glad you figured out the vines and all. The cows came with Riverside, the free EA world. I think they are in the debug section of the cheat or in the decor part. Glad you are enjoying the world. I will be releasing two EA remodel lots for the equestrian lots soon that are made for Dracul Isle. Have fun.
