You might have a look at some skins and face templates made by a creator called Oepu - some of them have a slightly Asiatic look. They're very well made too, I've transformed my game with his/her default face templates.

Do a search for Oepu on Mod the Sims 2. Worth a look even if it isn't exactly what you need :)

That's odd - I followed your link and tried to download the first skin and it worked OK for me.

You definitely have the right creator. A couple of the other skins looked promising, though. You might try to download them.

I found some more face replacements for you to look at, but I've never tried any of these:

If the link doesn't work - search for 'face replacements' at Mod the Sims.

The hair is a little more tricky - I've been recommending XM Sims for hair, but I'm not sure if they have anything in quite that style.

If I find anything I'll be back to let you know.

Actually I work yesterday with Body Shop and I came up with this skin and I think it's the right one, what do you think ?

I use a different base skin than the first one, since now I have all of the skin that come with the game (at the first try I just had one skin to work with x) )

I found this hair here at TSR:

http://www.thesimsre...t-42/id/853378/

It's quite close to the style you want. I was hoping you'd like XM Sims even if you couldn't find exactly what you wanted. New Sea do great hair, too. But not all of it is free.

Your sims is looking good - well done with what you've achieved :)

But now I don't know what color to chose for the skin, because as you can see, on the picture he didn't have the same color. I assume it's because of the light, but then...wich one is the good one ?

I'm will post a picture with the hair you found, thanks for the help so far ! =)

Okay here's what it look like now. Also I add a sideview picture to make you see that I add a...well you see the black dot...i don't know how you call that in english but in french it's a "grain de beauté".

The hair looks great and I think you got the skin colour about right. In your first picture it looks as if he is under a very strong light, but the second picture is more natural, I think.

"Grain de beaute" is "beauty spot" or "beauty mark" in English - you seem to have thought of everything :)

Thanks for letting me know how you got on, I was interested to see the result.

You're welcome ! And I absolutely thank you because you're actually the only one who seem to care x)

And I found something odd in the last pic I post...don't you think he do have a really bigger mouth than the real one ?
As for the rest...I just don't know...I just do the thing like I think it will be great, but since it's my first time...I don't know if it's ok.

I try different setting for the face and add a second beauty spot (since he as 2 on his neck), but the big one seem weird because I place it over a weird black spot that appear randomly O_O (and that is kind of annoying) and...I know that the big one is suppose is suppose to be...downer (is it a word o_O) if I refer to the second picture.

But see...I'm already at the bottom...so...how can I do ? :

I think you mean 'lower' :D

I've never done anything like this, so it's amazing to me to see that last picture and imagine trying to work on it to make it look like a real person.

I even get confused sometimes trying to work out the layout for a house - and they're simple enough.

You're doing well, especially for a first time. Persevere with it and I'm sure you'll get a result you're happy with. You didn't make a bad choice of model - he's a nice looking man.

I like your sim, too.

I hope you enjoy Sims 3 - there's lots of scope for creating things.

Be careful when you spend your free points at the Sims 3 store - I think some of the furniture has now been adapted for Pets and won't be compatible for the base game. It might be an idea to check that :)

Oh, and before you spend any points on hair, have a look at what you can get for free - there is some fabulous cc available.

True ! That is one of the reason I bought it, but I'm kind of sad because I couldn't find a single file to edit the skin like I did before...So no beauty spot anymore...>_<

Cleos at Mod the Sims has some beauty spots for the face - I wonder if you could ask him/her how it's done?

I don't know if it would be very different to put them on the neck. You might do a search for vampire bite marks - they'd be on the neck and the creators might give you some tips.

I've been having a little google search - there are some blogs and things with some info, but Mod the Sims seems a good place to do a search. There are tutorials there. I'm not sure who I am allowed to give links to, some sites aren't PG rated, but wiki has a section you could have a look at. Be careful about which links you follow, some sites are down, some are written in Chinese and sometimes you have to click on an ad to get out of a site.

But I did find a freckle creator at Mod the Sims :) Newone08 - s/he's listed as an instructor, so may be a good person to help.
