I am really enjoying generations except for those stupid IFs. I did a delete object on my first one and borked my entire town. I have a new town now and the silly sims went and had 6 kids so now I have 6 of the durn IFs. I don't like them and want them gone. For a temp fix I put the dolls in the moms inventory. Is there a way to safely get rid of the doll?

Those vamps spread like a bad headcold. Is there a small mod out there anywhere to prevent vampirism? I used to use Twallans SP but got tired of all the lag so have learned to live without it but those vamps are seriously annoying.

Has anyone else noticed a problem with the search on these forums? No matter what parameters I use the result is always the same... nada. This is the first time I have tried to search in a few months so not sure when this began but for me it began this morning <sigh>.

1. There's a mod at Mod the Sims that will allow you to buy/delete IFs. For your current IFs, try giving them away as gifts to other sims.

2. Shimrod has story progression mods that will suppress new vampire spawning (and celebrities, if you so desire). His website is called Gnauty Lil Gnomes. If you google "shimrod mods" his website should come right up.

3. I don't have a problem with the search function unless what I'm looking for is shorter than four letters long. What are you trying to find?

That particular mod is outdated--it was created for the 1.26 patch and will not work with higher patch levels.

Thank you So much my day just got brighter.

I was searching terms like: remove all vampires, dont want imaginary friends... that kind of stuff. It's very odd how the search isn't working for me. But then it could be my pc, its having 'issues' and I hope to do the rebuild tomorrow.

With the no vamp mod, will the current vamps die or be cured or just ignored and no longer allowed to bite others?

Current vampires will remain vampires, but they will not be able to spawn new ones.

Well.. I got Generations in December 2011 and I have yet to see an IF on any of my in-game born children and my existing baby/toddler/children don't have them either.
