Yeah..so i decided to give a try to Sims 3 creating..well, from scratch, aka : not just copying textures from clothing to clothing etc..and found out, DDS is not a supported file in my PSP 9..
I found some photoshop plugins, which tutorial writer refers to, but..for psp, i found none..Is there anyone who could suggest me anything please ? I,ve serch through tutorials here, but many seems to be missing, and broken link, anyways..not available anymore unfortunatly...
Thank you so much...

Actually you don't need plug-ins anymore since Workshop now supports TIFF and PNG too. :)

Oh well..there was a picture attached to my previous message, but it didn't make it, it seems. But yeah...I made shoes, and completely remapped them, to fit with My own texture..now what?..the pattern tool is great when you know how to use it but..it is a texture I want to create, not a pattern you know ?..like..you could not apply this on a shirt..lol, never mind, I'm lost....

PNG is a bit tricky with using the alpha channel. I personally always use TIFF because it supports this additional alpha channel just as DDS does.

Well, the pattern tool does not apparently, I only had the png or dds options when trying to open a file, my tiff was not even showing...

There are other tools to compress your texture into DDS:
DXTBMP
DXTviewer
ATI's Compressonator

Save as png or BMP then import in one of the above, export as DDS.
