Like the title says, I wish to change an object's effect but I can't find out how to do it in TSR Workshop...
Any help?

Yes, TSR Workshop has a built in script editor, but you need to know the C# programming language to make actually use of it.

Is there a way to clone an existing object's script, just altering/adding values? I don't know C#, but I'm familiar with C++/Java, so it shouldn't be too hard.
