Hello, I just wonder how to add pods to the minisite like on V7? I've seen some do that but I don't understand how to..

It's not possible to add pods to your minisite in v8. If you have enough content for a certain pod, it will show automatically. We eventually will make it so you can hide certain pods you don't want to show but that's at a later stage.

Shouldn't then My Creations show up if I do have over 200 creations?

Hmm, try to feature your creations on v7 (at least 6). It should show up then.

All I have on the minisite page is the banner. There are several pods on V7 including feature and none of my creations showing on V8

Rennara, the reason you are not seeing your creations on V.8 of your minisite is because you have not "featured" any. Looking at your Version 7 minisite, you have the "Latest Sims3" pod and the "Sims3 Archive" pod but not the "Featured" pod. You have to use the "feature" function in version 7 to get any of your items to be featured on your V. 8 minisite.

If you take a look at my Version 7 minisite -- http://www.thesimsre...rtists/frisbud/ -- you'll see that I have the Featured Items pod showing. Now go to my Version 8 minisite -- http://v8beta.thesim...category/sims3/ -- and you'll see those same items featured.

Later on, will it possible to change the colors, like on V7?

No it won't be possible to change colors. This feature is reserved for FAs and there it is only the header part.

Oh, what a pity! And what a limit to the size of the banner, they hope to remain? And a few more questions.
- Continue a survey of the pods (Poll)
- Continue aRandom Sims 3
- Clothing provided in the form set is not divided into elements. Always will be?
- The function submission is available only in submission the main page. On his page, I have not found it. Not very convenient.

We decided to discontinue polls as this feature is quite big to maintain. Random Sims 3 is available on the front page as well on Featured Artist minisites. I don't understand the question regarding the clothing set category I'm afraid.
The Submit menu is accessible at all times on v8. If you are on a profile page, simply click the arrow on the left and it will show you the site navigation. Also I don't understand your last sentence.

Regarding colors on minisites. The top header area will be recolorable by SA's and can even include predefined patterns provided by us. The gray content area can not be changed by anyone.

The minisites is a work in progress and will develop as we release version 8 to the public. You will at some point be able to turn a few sections on or off (such as studio, creations, about me).

Anyone with a minimum of 6 creations should as default show their latest creations, if not that is a bug we need to solve. You will soon be able to feature creations for your minisite in the submission area (this will be announced when ready).

Good to hear Thomas! I don't like the blue color longer...

Regarding banners - I know you'd never change the height of the banner, but personally I think 150px is way too small for a banner, at least 200px would do fine. Hope you would think of changing that.

The reason we've chosen and will stick to 150 is because that is the size used on v7 - meaning everyone who does not upload a new banner would still look ok.

I changed the pods yesterday in V7 to "feature"...still nothing V8 except my profile info...no creations. They are only in the download section:( Am I missing something?

You only have 2 items featured -- HelloKitty border and More and Duckies Border and More. You need to have at least 6 items featured to show on V8.

In version 7, a member of the clothing set was visible on the profile page in the tab's Clothing






In version 8 you can see only a set. Contained in it things do not wear the tab at all.




Not sure what to insert the image as it should.

Regarding inactive icons. I wanted to know about it.

I think you are misunderstanding. You have to "feature" at least 6 separate creations to appear in the pod. It does not matter whether the pod is 2 or 3 columns wide. What matters is the amount of items you have showing in the pod. Going back to my minisite as an example, I use the 3 column wide Featured pod but have 10 Sims1 creations and 8 Sims3 creations that are "featured" in that pod.
