Hi there I have some problem too! I can't see my profile ( my creations, pod) and when I log in I still see
the old version of TSR. Please someone help me!

Hi Altea! To get to the new site...which is only in BETA testing right now...you go to the front page and in the box there is a BLOG message from TSR where they tell the news and announce the new SAs and stuff. It says "Welcome to the New Sims Resource...". Click the link that says, "Read More". Now you should be in the announcement blog. At the very end of the blog is a link to the new site.

It looks like your page is complete, but I don't think you have marked any of your creations as a "Featured" creation. Pick 6 creations you are REALLY proud of that show your best work, or only 5 leaving the first space set aside for your most recent item. (Which you will still have to mark as a Featured Item if you want it to show.) Now, go to the set information/item information page where people download your set and you will see the little ADMIN button at the top right above your promotional picture. Click on that and then choose "Feature on Minisite". This will add those pictures to your V8 page. If you pick the wrong one, or change your mind, just go to the Submit Sims 2 area and click on the "Featured" button. This will open a page where you can "unfeature" whatever items you wish.

The minisites is a work in progress and will develop as we release version 8 to the public. You will at some point be able to turn a few sections on or off (such as studio, creations, about me).

I still have problems with my minisite Thomas and Cedric inforned me that this is tecnical and I have to have done it by you or someone from tsr. I want SO much to create my minisite like everyone else. I know that you are very busy but can you spare a little of your time for me Please

Now what!!! I have had up to 10 items chosen by admin button as "featured items and selected and deselected what I wanted in Sims 2 upload - features now I am back to square one....nothing on v8.

Rennara - There are actually only 6 spaces available for your featured items, so there's really no point in choosing more than 6. As I posted above, what I have done is chosen 5 of my creations that showcase some of the things I can do best, and then left the last choice...the 6th choice...as my most recent item for upload. I only change that ONE item when I have something new come out. The rest stay. As for nothing showing on your V8 site...there is no Clear Cache button on the V8 site. It takes time for the system to update when changes have been made. I am sure if you look at your site in an hour or two you will see that the changes have gone into effect. Removing seems to be immediate, but uploading new takes time. I'm sorry you're so frustrated. I am sure things will get a little smoother as we go along, just like it did for V7. (((Hugs!)))

Thanks Illiana, I tried your suggestion too, waited overnight and no dice. I''ve done everything instructed and it was working for a day or so .then I have no I idea what happened. Everything is set right as far I can tell.

The FA minisites look amazing, but the SA/Member minisites leave much to be desired.

A couple of tweaks would go a long way towards making them look better (see the attached image). First, adding a "show my creations" link just like the ones below it for screenshots or stories would make it easier and faster for people to get to our content. Yes, they can click the Downloads link above, but it's not immediately obvious to the average user that's what you need to do.

Second, adding a few spaces between the "show my screenshots" and "show my stories" links would make it clear the two links don't go to the same place.

Third, there needs to be an option for the My Creations and My Studio section to show our latest work first. In the case of My Creations, you have to feature something to show it, which means every single time we publish, we have to change what we have featured there. For those of us who publish often, that's going to be increasingly tedious. As for My Studio, not only can you not see the most recent work, but you can't feature it either. As it is now, that section on my page is showing screenshots from Sims 1 and Sims 2, and is not an accurate representation of my work.

Please use the http://v8beta.thesimsresource.com/. The page you show in the screenshot is outdated.

1. This is already reported, but postponed by the developers.

2. This is fixed on v8beta.

3. The link was also reported but is complicated due to mixed game content. I don't know what the conditional statements are for showing Studio content on your profile page, but please check your preferred content in your Account Settings.

Well there seems to be some progress...my v8 site is up with creations but it has my last five creations so it would appear that changes have been made.

First of all - sorry if I'm posting at a wrong place...
This new look is really amazing!
But I have a few questions -
1) I can see a few of my screenshots only, far away of showing all of them. Just one page. Is there any possibility to change that? I've seen that FAs can show more screenies on their site. Is that a special feature for FAs and/or SAs only?
2) In V7 I could press a button "edit" (in the screenshots area). Is this one gone now or is it just that I can't find it (to dull?)
3) With the old system we had the galleries. Are they gone now for ever?
And 4) All the comments on the screenies seem to be gone. Is this just an issue at the moment or will they be gone?

Please, don't think that I want to complain - far away. I'd just love to know how the little minisite will work in future.

Hii I love the v8. Especially FA pages are wonderful. But I have a question. When member and SA's can add banner?

You should be able to upload a banner now if you go into your account page and click on the minisite tab.

I load a banner. The site says loading but doesn't change.
