Since the Pets expansion, the maximum amount of Sims / Pets allowed in a household is ten. This means if you have 8 Sims, you can only have 2 pets, and if you have 2 Sims can have 8 pets or any mix of the two.

on Nraas you'll find 2 mods who will do this:
Mastercontroller let's you add sims manually to your family
Whooer allows your sims/pets to become pregnant.
Both are really good and are updated really fast to work with the latest patches...

The Master Controller has a setting on it to allow as many sims as you want (or can control). He also has Portrait Panel that will let you see I think up to 10. It also may have a setting to allow more. I have a family of 9 now and it is a lot of work to control all of those sims! lol Now if grandpa ever kicks the bucket, I'll have a bit more room, lol. He's 120 days old now w/a sim lifespan of 90.
Please pray for the peace of Israel!! That is to pray for the VERY soon returning Christ. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. When Jesus died on the cross He took our sin and shame; He offers us His righteousness as a GIFT that we must claim.

That's odd b/c mine won't display more than 11. I think I'll go over to his site and do some reading.
