There's NO easy access to downloads on the front page like there used to be, you have to go through about 984759437537 drop down menus to get to the page that you want, the 'download' button on items is stupidly tiny and most people can't even see it, there's NO design whatsoever - it's just a huge mass of... whiteness, I spent Kudos on a profile colour, which is now a huge ugly mass of yet more whiteness, NOTHING is easy to find/navigate anymore... it's just... ugh!
Sorry, but if this is 1.5 years of work, then... yeah. I would have expected a LOT better quality for that amount of time. Besides, you only changed the layout a few years ago - you don't need to change every few years. A site layout is THE most important thing; it's the first thing visitors see. If you constantly change things and/or have a layout that is hard to navigate, people will simply go elsewhere. There are THOUSANDS of other websites that offer sims 2 and sims 3 downloads.
Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it's the way it is. This is the internet. On the internet, ease of access = good. This layout is an eyesore and is not easy to access anything. That = bad. I used to enjoy it here... before TSR sold out and tried to 'become' like facebook / youtube / twitter / whatever else. You're NOT Facebook. You're NOT twitter. You're a sims download site. Stop trying to change everything to blend in with the 'popular' sites.
The OLD TSR V7 and the one before were both awesome, because they were DIFFERENT. They were UNIQUE. You could take one fleeting glance at ANY of the pages, and instantly know what site you were on. This one? It's nothing special. It's nothing unique. There's nothing that draws you in.
Sorry if this sounds harsh or whatever, but I speak the truth. I don't believe in sugarcoating things. I, for one, will not be coming back here anymore. Which is a shame, because I actually came on here today to subscribe. I didn't expect to be leaving. Oh well, onto bigger and better things, I guess.

Given time we hope you will learn to like it as well. The old site will be available for as long as we consider v8 in beta mode (that means we should be pretty much bug free). Estimated time is between 2-3 weeks from now.

And I'm actually having an easier time navigating to be honest. And I'm going to keep coming back now that the site is refreshed and updated to a much more recent version of IP.Board. A lot of things like "What expansion packs do you have?" can actually be brought back via the "Custom Profile Fields" option via the Admin CP. But I'm sure there are a dozen other things the tech team need to be looking at and fixing right now, so all the fun stuff can come later.

You find your bookmarked artists here:
http://www.thesimsre...tist/bookmarked
To get to this page, in the top bar go to Hi summersdress! -> My Bookmarked Artists. On a profile page you have to click that little book with the bookmark in the user menu (where usually the site navigation is).

Your profile page is most likely cached. You need to wait until the servers regenerate your site again and then you'll see the updated details.

Lots are different since lot builders can use objects from different EP's and SP's but they should in that case always state in the description which packs are needed.
"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that is why we call it The Present."
