If you intend to attach a ground level garage to the rear of your house, and it has a foundation . . then you will need to look up a tutorial on getting them 'squared away' . . .otherwise, I'd say go for it. Good luck.

I have built several multi car garages in the back of my lot. You do not have to put all the extensions in...otherwise the cars will park on the extensions and driveway rather than in the garage.
When I do this, I will set up each stall in the garage, build the garage around it. Now at street level I will place a "driveway" either with landscape or tiles for the wheels to travel...this is just for esthetics. When the owner drive up the cars wiill "jump" into the stalls inside the garage. I still haven't figured out a way to twist the extensions eventhough I have read the tutorial.

I actually do not put a driveway in. I just put the extension pieces into the garage. Otherwise my sims will park on the driveway instead of parking in the garage in Sims 2
