First thing: Clicking on ANYTHING on this site is quite slow. Looking at different downloads or clicking on the forum tab, etc, takes a lot longer than my computer does for anything else; and i didn't have the trouble in the old layout,

Second Thing: The download button jsut does nothing. I click it, and unlike other buttons that when I click them they satrt to laod but just take a long time, whenever I click Download it's as thoguh I didn't even click it. It literally does nothing, I've tried on multiple objects and it's always the same: nothing.

Can anybody help please, especially with the second?

what web browser are you using?
I have no problem with safari, but have the same problem as you with firefox. having said that, the moderators have asked me whether or not my version of firefox is up to date. I have still to check that.

I'm also running the newest version of Firefox, but I have no problems.

What else, if anything, do you have open on your computer? Do you have any add-ons, themes, or extensions installed in your browser?

Are you keeping in the same Firefox tab or switching to new tabs? I have noticed that Firefox works fine for me when I stay in the same tab. it is only when I "Open in New tab" to send an item to a new page that I have problems.
