I'd like to make an exact replica of an EA sliding patio door mesh with one slight modification. I only want to make the glass a mirror instead transparent. Do I need to go through milkshape in order to do this, or is there a way to change the reflectiveness in TSRW itself? Any help would really be appreciated. I haven't really had much success with my problems, so far.

Thanks.

It depends if the part that you want to be reflective is in a seperate meshgroup, if so then you could try to change the shader(find under materials of that group in the meshtab) into a flat miror.(load its settings when changing)

If not then you either have to seperate that part into a seperate meshgroup or use diffrent material settings.
some nice settings(close to a mirror) you find on the sphere's in the debug section.

I'm not sure if what you are trying to do is actually possible. I tried making a fridge door mirrored, but I couldn't get the actual mirror plane to animate. Despite being assigned to the door joint, the mirror group just sat there when the fridge was opened and wouldn't move. I expect the same thing would happen with any kind of regular door, too :(

yes, you are right.
I also think that the shader doesn't support joints

Thanks so much for the responses, everyone. I haven't had any luck getting it to work. Bummer, too, because they would have made really neat closet doors. (sigh) Someday. . . Someday I'll actually learn to mesh from scratch and create the things in my head.
