None of my sims can prepare meals. When I click to "serve" meal the options are greyed out. They can get quick meal and get leftovers but can't serve meals. Any suggestions on why this is happening? I have no new mods and what I have are all up to date. Also, the fridge is full of food.

I noticed that you had a microwave, but do you have a stove? Can you cook waffles or pancakes in a microwave?
When I have had the option to make meals greyed out, it is either because there is no bench space (but you seemed to have plenty of that), or they cannot afford the food. (but if the fridge is full of food, that shouldn't be an issue either.
Have you tried cooking in another household?
Have you tried resetting the lot?

Sheridan you are a genius! I reset the lot, reset each individual sim and then just moved them to another house. When I read your answer I decided to go back into the house (earlier game before they moved) and check it out. Now I don't know why the stove was missing, I just assumed it was there because I had played a family in this house and then moved them to another. When this house was vacant and I was playing another sim family, I moved that family into this house. Now I find that not only the stove is missing but also a food replicator that had been bought. The family I moved out didn't take these things with them I had to buy all new for them. So I don't know why these things were missing from this house. As you can tell I don't pay much attention to detail when playing LOL. It never dawned on me to check for a stove, I just assumed it was there! Thanks Sheridan, you are a game saver again.
