Hi I have been trying to upload a lot to the website for a couple hours now and I keep getting the same error when I try to upload the files. The error reads as following:
1147018.zip is missing in /tmp/subm21147018. Could be due to unallowed characters in filename.

Please help!? I have tried changing the name and a lot of other stuff but I cannot get it.

What is the exact name of the ZIP or Sims3Pack you are trying to upload? Did you try to upload the file first into the filestorage?

I have encountered exactly the same problem and contacted the staff. I've tried to upload two different lots both from my computer and from the file storage. Neither of them work. :(

Are you trying to upload sims2 or sims3?

I'm uploading Sims 2 lots. Now, by uploading only the sims2pack from my computer, I managed to get the first lot trough. Thanks to Millyana for pointing this out. :) I'm still having problems with the second since I got a messages reading 'Warning: No file uploaded' and '1147260.zip is missing in /tmp/subm21147260. Could be due to unallowed characters in filename.' With the successful upload, the sims2pack file was packaged into a zip so does the message mean that the packaging doesn't happen properly?

Make sure the filename doesn't contain any special characters such as apostrophes. This is the most likely cause which triggers this error.

I'm quite certain that the problem hasn't been with the name since it's simply Kallio. My web browser (Chrome) shows the uploading progress from my computer to 99 % after which it waits respond from the server. Then appears the strange 'Warning: No file uploaded.' When trying to upload the zip from the file storage, I get the '1147260.zip is missing in /tmp/subm21147260. Could be due to unallowed characters in filename.' I tried uploading both the packaged folder and the sims2pack which was then put into a new zip in the file storage. I've just tried so many combinations that I have no idea how the sims2pack uploading worked with the first file (Cathedral which has now been approved). The second file is bigger so is that the reason? I even made two versions of the second lot file but it made no difference to the result.

I checked your submissions and it looks like you managed to submit/upload both of those files?

The item, I'm having problems with, is indeed in the uploads section but the item doesn't seem to contain the sims2pack file or zip, only images. (With the first, successfully uploaded item, I managed to get the zip file to show during the edit option.) When editing the problematic item in uploads section, I browse for the sims2pack file from my computer and then update all. However, after loading the file I only get a blank page with a pop-up saying the strange 'Warning: No file uploaded.' Attempts to refresh the page start uploading from the beginning and the cycle continues.

I started filling the submission form from the start, and managed to get the file uploaded! :D
