Changing Game Language in the Sims 3 - MAC

I am after a way of changing the language of may game on my macbook. I have tried everything that I can think of with no luck! I even bought the English version of the base game today to try and force my expansions to be english but it just is not working. Any help would be great thanks!

what do you mean by changing the language? are all the messages in another language? what language are they in? or do you mean the language that the sims are speaking?

I have the same problem, my game is in Dutch, I tried to install base game in English, but expansions didn't change, please help

so do you mean that all the written messages are in Dutch? or are you talking about how the sims speak?
