Hi Girl, This will sound odd but when you build apartments don't use and building CC inside them , especially arches and doors. I battled with that also for months untill I realeased that this caused the problem. Do not know if it will help but its a starting point for you to check

This is one of my pet hates - I wish a system had been invented where the game would just tell you what was wrong.

I've been trying to think of the various reasons I've found for this happening in my game and I remember that outside staircases can cause a problem. Another thing is fences, they have to be properly enclosed with no gates.

Something really stupid happened recently. I'd been playing with the move objects cheat on because I wanted to move the trashcan and mailbox. Even though it drives me nuts placing doors and windows with the cheat on I was too lazy to turn it off. And the wretched game had duplicated the apartment door, one being slightly behind the other so I couldn't see that there were two doors. And that was the reason for the problem.

If I think of anything else I'll come back and let you know.
