Can you only enter through Facebook? I'm not on there, but I really want to enter this competition!

Red, unfortunately that's the only way to enter, as it is the most accessible place worldwide for people to create photo albums... sites like photobucket aren't easy to get to from some countries.

Just create a "sims only" facebook persona - then you won't have to clutter up your personal facebook profile, and you can protect your "information" if you are in the camp that thinks facebook is the stuff of evil etc...

I'm quite looking forward to this, although I am not a particularly skilled builder xD

What are the rules on Gridlines showing and picture size?

No rules on grids or pic size ... we realize that some folks may have never done a competition like this before, so we aren't going to hold it against them :)

About keeping the foundation....can you make it bigger? or does the house have to stay the same shape on that first floor?

You'll have to double check with Degera.. but I'm pretty sure you can NOT change the foundation to be bigger...

Quote

the only rule is that the footprint of the home must remain the same as before. What's the footprint, you ask? It's the area defined by the foundation.

I would LOVE to join... but I don't have the time! But it does sound like fun!!! I wish you all good luck!

Parts of the porch/deck can be changed/added to the house right & parts of the house can become porch/deck right? As long as the foundation isn't changed?

A confirmation needed : We can use Custom Content right? (I guess we can, this -is- a TSR contest after all ^_^ )

You can edit the porch/deck/garage as you wish. And yes, you can use custom content, so long as you follow the guidelines for use, and/or not upload that content to other sites :)

Yes, Angela, you can knock down all the walls, so long as the foundation stays :)
