I know this game is old, but I still enjoy playing it. In fact I have virtually no interest in playing Sims 2 or 3 because creating content for them is so much more complicated. Also people don't seem to make crazy stuff for those games. Sim1 was different. I love that I am able (as I have) to gather up all sorts of crazy skins and make a completely ridiculous neighborhood housing the likes of DC and Marvel super heroes, Terminator, Alien, Star Wars characters, Halloween and Christmas themed skins like scarecrows and snowmen and santa. Etc. I've enjoyed it to the point that I've started editing skins again. Once long ago I tried it, but didn't know what I was doing.

The point of this is that I was quite disappointed today when I cranked out a bunch of edits and an improved Venom skin (Spiderman Venom) and thought, "That stuff's good enough to sub." Then I discovered that the site no longer accepts Sims 1 content.

I know it's probably very unlikely, for reasons I'm not even aware of, but I petition that TSR re-open Sims 1 submissions. I don't understand why they'd close off new content while the Sims 1 DL section still remains. Anybody agree with me?

Ummm...From what I have been told by the submissions staff, Sims1 submissions are still open. You need to use Sims2 submissions area to submit your Sims1 stuff -- http://submissions.t...sions/start.php

Ahh... I see. Well, that's good to know then. Though, in that case, the clarity of said feature leaves something to be desired.
