Hey, is there a way to choose to download furnished and unfurnished houses? I know that once they're donwloaded and installed, I have the choice of purchasing it loaded or vanilla. However, I am getting annoyed with wanting to download a bunch of really sweet looking lots only to find a bunch of stuff in it that I don't want in my game. Walls and floors are one thing, but entire sets of furniture, paintings I would never download in the first place, et. al. are totally different. Or if it's possible at all, decorate and furnish it with only base game items and sets? There are way too many extremely talented designers here, and some of the lots are absolutely gorgeous...then I see "Items on TSR used in this creation..." and it totally ruins it for me. Yeah, it looks great, sure. But I don't want that extra stuff bogging down my game.

Am I being vague at all?

There's no way of installing a furnished house without getting all the contents included as well if using a Sims3Pack file (ie downloaded from TSR) through the Launcher. They are all packaged up with the lot at the export stage, this is why TSR lists all the content used inside a Lot on the download information.

You can, however, use a third party program to look inside the Sims3Pack file and export the lot itself to a differently named Sims3Pack file or to convert to a .package file and even then there's no guarantee you won't get something else installed as well.

The easiest thing to do is to search for EA only Lots or unfurnished lots.
