Marco Polo in the pool? Am I just remembering Sims 2 or not doing something right?

I could have sworn Marco Polo was a pool interaction for Sims 3, but when I tried it, the option didn't come up. Is this something I'm remembering from Sims 2 and thinking it was available in Sims 3 also?

If it makes a difference, I uninstalled Late Night (vampires/celebs ruining my game). I also had five Sims in the pool at the time, wanting them all to play so I could record it, but it was a large pool.

I think you're remembering something from Sims 2. In Sims 3, sims can really only splash each other and have a "hold breath" contest. No Marco Polo, alas!

By the way, there are several mods out there that will greatly slow down, or completely squash, the production of vampires and celebrities in-game.

It was Sims 2 only and Spladoum is right about Mods, Twallan's Master Controller can help prevent vampires, celebrities, paparazzi etc spawning.

In many ways, the celebrity part is kind of annoying, but I just started a new legacy and his wife just got a nice discount at the store for being a "celebrity." When money is tight , it is nice. :)
Please pray for the peace of Israel!! That is to pray for the VERY soon returning Christ. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. When Jesus died on the cross He took our sin and shame; He offers us His righteousness as a GIFT that we must claim.
