So, I just started downloading from TSR and I was really excited about the furniture. I went to download it into my game and...it wasn't there. They were in .simspack form, and I both added them to my downloads folder and installed them via the launcher, but no dice.

So, I tried to fix the problem and ended up deleting all my CC (whoops). But, I was able to get my clothes, makeup, lots etc back.

But STILL no objects. I've tried deleting the cache files after I download, before I download, both before and after, but still they don't show up. It's JUST obejcts though. According to the website, I've been downloading them correctly and my game is patched up to 1.34.27 (to my knowledge, the latest patch) but still...no objects. Objects I've gotten from downloaded lots show up, and store bought ones, but not ones from this site downloaded as objects.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong :( And I was really excited for my new objects!

I downloaded mostly from Angela, who seems like a safe person to download from. Is there something I'm missing?

Make sure you have the latest version of Origin installed as well as your game being up to date.

When I tried to download the newest version of origin, it said I was up to date, but when I open the launcher it says it won't connect to origin. But then how do I connect to origin?

I have origin on my computer, and I'm logged in on it. But it was still saying it can't connect to origin! I've basically dismantled my security settings, added it to approve programs, taken down my firewall...what else can I do? :(

Uninstall Origin and then reinstall it, sounds like there's a cookie or log in problem.
