Error with TSR! Please help!

Im having problems everytime with TSR, It can install just fine but always comes up with this certain message about "unable to read beyond stream?" If people have time can they please help me out, cheers.

This is usually related to unsupported expansion packs. Which EP's do you have installed?

What path are you setting for Workshop? The default path for those with the DVD version of the game would be C:\Program Files\Electronics Arts\The Sims 3.

Yeah the path im using is the one you said about frisbud, and sorry pommes, kind of a newbie at sims, does ep's mean episodes?

EPs means expansion packs. Do you have any expansion packs or stuff packs installed?

Do you have the DVD version of the game or did you download the game? If you downloaded it, what site did you download from?

also pommes this is all there is in that so called "packages" folder...

and frisbid, I bought the game as in DVD version, I have no expansion packs but If you could tell me how to put a picture up from my computer on here then I can show you what exactly is in that "packages" folder.

Sorry it has taken a while to get back to you. We had a family day at the beach yesterday, so I was not at my computer most of the day. The contents of your folder looks as it should. I am stumped on this one. Since pommes is one of the programmers for Workshop, I will defer this issue to him.

And as a bit of forum business, please do not create more than one thread for a topic. As we are real people with real lives, we are not at our computers 24/7. We come in here when we have the time to do so. You need to be patient when posting, and not be rude, as you were in a thread I deleted just a moment ago. Thank you. :)

Random thought, do you have enough RAM on that machine? Is the path to the game correctly specified?

new-ish laptop, cant remeber to find how much RAM I have :L and yes, I was told to put it in C:/ProgramFiles/EA/Sims3 which I have been doing.
