So I've always wondered if other sims can propose to one of your active household members. Can't someone propose to my sim instead of my sim always proposing to her boyfriend. I Wish sims in sims 3 can more active to my active household members.

I always like the guy proposing so that the couple end up with the guy's surname. So if I am playing a female sim, and I want the guy to propose, I get them to have a lot of friendly interactions until she gets the option to ask him to move in. Then when he has moved in, I control him and have them switch to romantic interactions until he gets to propose to her.
With twallan's story progression mod, obviously other sims propose to each other in the town, but I don't think proposing marriage is the sort of interaction that uncontrolled sims will do with a sim under your control.

Ahhh the twallan's story progression mod is extremely helpful to at least fulfill some of my needs. Thanks for the mentioning it! Hopefully a mod come up and have my desired marriage mod.
