I'm having trouble understanding the pattern tutorials. I want to create a stone texture to use on walls, but the pattern tool demands that I split it into channels for recolouring, and I don't want to do that, I just want to use the texture as it is. I think I'm missing something here, can anyone help?

Not sure if you are still watching for replies to your question . . . but . . .

Splitting into the RGB channels doesn't have to alter the colour of your texture . .     It just means that someone else, down the road, can do so if they have other preferences.   Just save your file with the texture YOU want to use..

Are you using the tool EA has?
