I'm a little overwhelmed in Sims 4, since I am more used to Sims 2. I can't seem to find the information for placing a custom home on a Residential lot. Please help.

Open the Gallery.

Go to My Library.

Click on Lots in the menu on the left.

Click on Advanced and then click on Include Custom Content.

Then Click on the picture of the lot you want to place and choose Place Lot.

If you don't click on Include Custom Content any lots made with custom content won't show up in My Library.

Hello filaminae!
I've been playing the Sims 4 for a while, but it was a bit difficult to place a lot from the gallery. I'll try to make this simple  :)

First, find the gallery button in the upper right-hand corner. It's the icon with the pictures, or F4.

Second, Click on the community folder at the top, or look up what kind of lot you're looking for. Click on which display you like best, then on the bottom right-hand corner click the place lot button (I can't describe the icon).

Third, find where you'd like to place that lot.

Then, Voilà! You have your placed lot.

I hope this was helpful.
