To dearest Shelley,

I am sorry that I haven’t been writing to you since Mama (Casey),Uncle Shawn (Casey's elder brother) and I moved from Strangetown to Pleasantview.
But it has been a chaotic month since we moved into Pleasantview. For one, Mama was really distraught since she caught Papa in bed with that tart, Mary Jones from next door. She was so distraught that she divorced Papa on the spot and kicked him out of the house. She even fought that tart, Mary but promptly lost to her twice as Mary is a fitness instructor. Mama was so upset but she had to be content with slapping Mary twice before chasing her out of the house with a broom. Mary had to run out of our house in her underwear as she had no time to pull on her clothes. You can just imagine our nosy neighbors watching this scene from their windows…Sighs… Oh yes, as you might remember, at that time, I was out with you shopping with Jenny when my cell phone rang and Mama ordering me to go home right away. I returned home to find Mama packing her luggage furiously and on seeing me, demanded I do the same. Shocked and confused, I obliged. It was Uncle Shawn who told me what happened while I was frantically packing. He had come over to help out. Shawn was worried about my Mama as he thought that Mama might do something silly. So he decided to live with Mama and me till Mama calmed down a bit. It was Shawn who proposed to Mama that we move to Pleasantview. Shawn thought that the fresh air in Pleasantview might do Mama some good. Well… I suppose you know the rest of the story from here…we moved to Pleasantview and I have to break off my budding romantic linkages with Jenny. It’s a pity since we are about to have our first kiss! But Mama is more important and I don’t think she will approve of me dating dear Jenny since she is a Jones…

Shelley, I have some photos enclosed for you to look at. The first is my newly taken family portrait. The second photo is that of our new house which Mama and Shawn bought with their savings. The third is a close up photo of me. Say, how do you find my new hairdo?

Dear Shelley,

Thanks for writing back!! It’s so wonderful to hear from you again. Thanks for sharing on the updates from Strangetown!!! I was distressed to hear that Jenny had already gotten herself a steady and it’s barely one month since I moved! I wonder why the Jones’ last name is not “Tart” …it disappoints me that Jenny is a tart like her mama. But it’s ok. I will find myself a new love in Pleasantview soon.

But more on what is happening in Shawn and Mama’s lives now… Mama gotten a lot happier since she moved into Pleasantview. She is now looking at getting me into private school and have been busy picking up cooking skills from TV and from cooking. Mama claimed that a well cooked meal will get me surely into private school. I am not sure what she meant by that…. How can a well cooked meal get anyone into private school? I better clean up the house and work on my charisma so that I can charm the headmaster into admitting me.

Anyway, I suspect if cooking skills matter, it may be a long time before I can get into private school. For one, Mama’s cooking skills suck. She was cooking pancakes when she managed to start a fire! (04) If that is what’s going to happen when the headmaster comes around, I doubt I will get into private school for a long time to come. Anyway, that was Mama’s first meeting with the fireman. The fireman seemed to have taken an interest in Mama. Even chatted with her for a while after the fire was put out! Mama was apparently so grateful for the fireman for extinguishing the fire in time that she tipped him $50! Nevertheless, to say, that must have impressed the fireman quite a bit for he stayed and chatted till 10pm, eating our free food and even playing TV games with Mama and Shawn.

Despite the cooking disaster, Mama still insisted on inviting the headmaster over for dinner at 5 pm the next day. I was so sure that I couldn’t get in because my house is shabby and Mama’s cooking skills suck. She cooked pancakes for dinner! How could she? Who in heaven’s name cooked pancakes for dinner?

However, Shawn managed to schmooze the headmaster sufficiently (05) with his charm and humor and even managed to impress the headmaster while giving him a tour around the house. It is a mercy that Mama managed to borrow some expensive paintings from the Rich Family next door. The expensive paintings impressed the headmaster who was very much into art and still life paintings. Shawn and I spent one hour humoring the headmaster about still life painting before inviting him to dinner. The headmaster must have been sufficiently impressed with my house and family for he actually admitted me into private school despite choking several times on Mama’s bad pancakes. I believed I saw Shawn ducking into the bathroom with his pancakes but never mind on that…

More on Shawn now. Shawn had gotten himself a new job as a security guard. He hopes that will keep the dough coming. Before going to work, Shawn worked out on the single exercise machine in our home, got himself into a good mood and popped off to work. He managed to get a promotion soon enough (06) and proudly declared in front of Mama and me that he is going to get a new car ! I enclosed a photo of his new car (07). How do you find it? Anyway, it’s cool that my family can finally afford a car. No more stinky bus rides or waiting for cabs!

After Shawn’s promotion, he got to know this single lady who is also new to Pleasantview. Her name is Iris Byron. And Shawn is utterly smitten with her. I was visibly upset when I returned home one day from school to catch them kissing each other in front of me (08)! I was heartbroken. I have been harboring a secret crush on Shawn since childhood…Sighs. BUT it is ok. I have Sophie. Tomorrow, I am going to invite her home and try to become best friends with her.

Dear Shelley,

I am so excited. After practicing my speech skills and romance skills for hours in front of the mirror yesterday, I finally mustered up the perfect charisma and courage to invite Sophie to my home today!

To my shock (shall I replace that with joy but to me, it feels more like a shock as I was already hearing the words of rejection ringing in my mind when I invited her… one of my worst fears is “rejection” by Sophie which will cost me 3,500 aspiration points and 1,000 influence! I am so glad I wasn’t rejected….when she said “yes”, I had to ask her to repeat that ‘cos I was so surprised that she actually agreed.

Sorry, I am so whiny here. But this is because I am so excited... maybe this will help me get over Jenny Tart! Anyway, I managed to snap a photo (secretly of 'cos!) of Sophie while she is getting off the bus... look at her, isnt she a dear? (09) After inviting her over, I treated her to chinese food (the best I could afford with my megre allowance till Mama marry a rich Sim- I hope she will!) and even hang out with her. Putting my charisma skills to excellent use, I flattered her and admire her and even suceed in giving her a friendly hug. To top the day off, I invited her to Liquid Dreamz <this is a great place for swimming during day time but at night, it’s extremely dark, making it awesome for teen dating! (10)>, the new shopping mall *** swimming pool round the corner and danced with her by the pool. 5 hours after she came to my house, our daily relationship bar shot to 80 plus points and we become best friends. Being daring, I proceed to give her a Kiss- "Romantic style"... and guess what, she responded positively. I proceeded to flirt outrageously with her by giving suggestions (11). 30 mins later, I decide to go for the ultimate... First Kiss! Look out for the photos of my first kiss (12-13). It's a great feeling to have my first kiss and the moment I touched Sop's plump juicy lips, Jenny Tart was already 10000 miles away from my mind. Isn't this amazing? Of course, Sop and I went steady after that and thus begin the blooming of my first relationship! Boy, I feel good!

Look at how much I achieved by coming to Pleasantview! It's almost as if I am a popularity sim like my Mama...

Speaking of Mama, she doesn't seem to be doing very well... I saw her coming home today in tears and strangely, her clothes seemed tattered. When I try to ask her about it, she refused to answered and snapped at me. That reduced our relationship daily score by 10 points...I wonder what's wrong with her but for now, I am too high to care about it.

Dear Diary,

sob sob...I feel so gulity and distraught.... sob sob.
I even snapped at Jade when I returned home just now. It was bad behavior but I couldn't help it.

I have unwittingly become a third party today... sob sob.

5 days ago, I have fallen in love with a John Burb from next door.
We hit it off when we met for the first time while he was jogging past our doorstep.

John stopped and asked "Hey, how are you doing? Ya new hre?" and that's how we started talking.

John is a culture freak like me and we spent the next 2 hours chatting about museums and the latest painting, "Flowers in the attic" hanging in the museum in the big City, Simville. He also gossiped to me about a neighbor, Darren Dreamer,3 doors away from me, Gossiped about how Darren is such a dreamer, believing he could be a great artist when obviously his painting is like crap, worth only 30 simoleons. John really make me laugh hard and easily. In two hours, we are already friends.

2 days later after a series of phone calls and emails, we went swimming at Liquid Dreamz (oh, that new place is so wonderful for a dip during daytime but I wouldn’t count on going there at night... so creepy!) (14). We danced and have wonderful poured drinks by the poolside and he rubbed suntan lotion on my back. I thought I am thoroughly blessed! Before I realized it, John had stolen a kiss from me and very soon, we were making out in front of everyone on the sandy beaches of Liquid Dreamz. Now that's embarrassing but I feel strangely elated at finally emerging from the shadows of my broken marriage with that creep, Travis.

I hate to confess this but I am feeling so frisky especially after the divorce with Travis... I haven't had any tender loving care from any Sim for close to a month.
My social bar dipped to dangerously red levels and I am so glad that John is here to push my social bar up to a healthy green. Because of him and that stolen kiss, my mood shot to platinum and I was able to practice cooking at a faster pace when I got home from Liquid Dreamz that evening.

I tried to invite him home for a dinner of pancakes but he claimed he was busy and promptly popped into a waiting cab before I could ask for the reason "why".

I didn't make too much of that but now I believe I can guess the reason why... that wily creep...

Anyway, I was so happy that night I try to break the happy news to Shawn and Jade. But Shawn is busy talking on his cell phone with his new girlfriend, Iris Byron and Jade was looking dejected and it appears she was writing a letter. Fearing to disturb them, I decide to suprise my family instead by bringing John home one night for dinner! Can't wait to see Jade and Shawn's happy faces when they realised I gotten over Trevis!

Anyway, the very next day , John called to apologize for leaving so promptly the evening before. He wanted to invite me to his home! Of course, I highlighted that it's always a pleasure to see him and promptly gussy up before changing my hairdo and wearing a brand new outfit to John's house. I even make sure I was wearing sexy red lingerie I brought from the store at Liquid Dreamz.

Upon arriving at his house, John was waiting for me at the doorstep, dressed in his Sunday suit and carrying a lovely bunch of red tulips. How old fashioned and charming. I was immediately charmed by his attractive appearance. It appeared that he had also changed his hairdo! It's indeed great minds think alike.

He escorted me to his dining table where I was presented with salmon for lunch! I was impressed by John's cooking skills. Before long, he hit on me and we started making out on the bed (15). Following which, we progressed quickly to ..... oh....how exciting. BUT the fairy tale end right here!

Just as we were woo-hoo-ing, Jennifer Burb walked right in! She was outraged to notice I was woo-hoo-ing with John on her bed (16) and immediately proceeded to fight John (17)... I was so shocked that I try to run away...But it was too late. After winning 1 fight against John and giving him a round of slaps around the face, Jen proceeded to fight me! At that time, I have no clue what was going on and seeing this angry red bull rushing to fight me, my instinct was to fight back. I proceeded to fight this bull in the kitchen twice (18). She had a kid with her who watched the fight and cheered her on (19). I promptly won against her twice and she went off into the bedroom to cry . Not to be outdone, I went smugly into the bedroom and sat down in a comfy room and watched her cry (20). The moment I sat down, reality sunk into me and I snapped at John who was still sprawled on the floor after his defeat, "Who the hell is this woman?" ... although the answer was already entrenched in the back of my mind. "...." was all that John managed. The kid came over... pointed at John and brawled "Papa" and then pointed at the woman, "Mama". My worst fear was confirmed there and then!!! He have a family!

I proceeded to cry in despair (21). Not wanting to sob in front of Jennifer, I went off into their kitchen to cry. As I walked out, Jennifer followed me. Now she understood that it wasn't my fault. But that doesn't alleviate my sense of guilt and shame at being caught cheating with her husband. Damn John,
He had me in the same position as Travis when I caught him cheating. I wouldn't help but sobbed even harder at this irony (22).

Jennifer was so disgusted at her husband cheating on her and me at the same time that she divorced John right on the spot (23-24) and sent him packing.

That creep was so distressed (25) at losing both of us that he left his family home in his underwear without packing (26). I wish I will never see him again...

Diary, now that I think about it, I am so glad that Shawn and Jade didn't know about John. Jennifer comforted me and I thanked her for her forgiveness before leaving the Burb House.

I am never going to fall in love again

I wonder why Pleasantville is so unpleasant for me. I didn’t have it good here either

Only Shawn seems to be having a great time. With his new promotion, new car and a new girlfriend, his life seems almost in Perfectville. Maybe wedding bells will ring for him soon since he is a family Sim.

However I would still love to continue to post my stories in TSR forums. Shld I still leave my legacy here or do I need to shift it elsewhere since I am not playing the legacy anymore?

Iris was pacing the floor of her living room talking excitedly (ranting?) to some Sim over the fone.


Iris: .... yes…yes… we kissed for the first time yesterday… He was sooo... hot. I love the feel of his lips and the co****ness of his stubble. It gives one an incredibly sexy feeling. What,you are asking how we MET ? concidence, coincidence!!! It just happen. I am not telling you,,, Its our SECRET. HEEHEEHEEH!!!
I am excited. This might be my big break at marrying a RICH Sim and he is an ATTRACTIVE Sim!! I certainly stumbled upon a gold mine! What, you are asking if I am a fortune Sim? No way, I am not a gold digger... (gossip gossip) ... I am a knowledge Sim. Hey, dude, my lifetime want is to max all my skills. If I don't find a rich Sim and move to his house and share his fortune, how am I going to stay unemployed at home to max my skills?! I am already getting sick of my crappy job as a hostress. Getting harrassed by young punks half the time!

Scene 1 , Act 2

Location: The Pleasant Family House, Mid-Day

Daniel: Shawn darling, you are finally here

A passionate session of making out commences once Shawn crosses the threshold over the Pleasant Family House.

Shawn: Danny, How I miss you. Its good that your irritating wife is finally out working. I have to use one day's vacation leave to pop over to meet you.

Daniel: Let's go indulge in the love tub!

Shawn (promptly changing into his swimwear): Alrig......ht!!

*Beep Beep* Shawn's cell phone beeped , indicating the arrival of a text message.

Shawn reads the text secretly while he was scrubbing Daniel's back.

"Shawn honey...where are you? I called you at work yet you are not around.
I heard you have a new gf who goes by the last name of Byron. Is that true? Are you with her now? Are you going to ditch me, you jerk"

Iris (giving Shawn a romantic hug): Shawn Sweetie, how's work today?

Shawn (rubbing his eyebrow): Yes, dear... ahem... it's reasonably engaging. No baddies to catch today. I was able to type out my reports in peace.

Iris (whipping out a piece of paper): Shawn dear... I had a poem for you. I wrote it myself, Let me serenade it for you.

Shawn ( thinking to himself): Sure, baby.

Iris recited her poetry ...

I really like the format. Changing the views makes the story seem more diverse and personal. The only thing I would do is remember to label who's diary, letter, or phone call we are reading at the beginning like you did for the last post. That helps a lot.

Haha, actually I want to make the readers guess who the sim is from what they are reading.
But the answer to the indentity of the Sim is always revealed at the end ofthe episode

Scene 2 Act 2

As Iris recited her poem, Shawn was distracted by his cell phone which keeps vibrating in his pocket. He was glad it was on silent mode. He knew who the call is from yet he couldn’t pick it up now… not with Iris around….

“Darn Lenny… why does she keep calling?”

Iris: “Shawn… Shawn… are you listening to my poem… I spent the whole night writing it…” (27)

Shawn (rubbing his brow yet again): “Yes, yes of course… wonderful my dear. I am touched you did this for me despite your busy job as a hostess.”

Iris (giggling): Glad you love it… (in the back of Iris’s mind, she is secretly congratulating herself for taking the effort to memorize Wordworth’s love poem for the whole night yesterday. At least her effort is bearing fruit although her eye bags are bulging. It’s a wonder that Shawn didn’t notice).

It is time to act now…

Iris leaned forward to give Shawn a bold peck on the cheek.

Shawn (excited by the kiss and ceased remembrance of his vibrating cell phone): “Oh Iris sweetie that is so romantic of you…

Shawn leans forward to kiss Iris romantically and they soon engaged in a full making out session. It wasn’t long before Shawn fell in love fully with Iris… and Iris was so impressed by Shawn’s French kissing abilities that she fell truly and really in love with him there (28) and then… even though her original aim is just to marry a rich man.

Anyway, we just got ourselves a new vanity table and everyone have been busy changing their appearance to suit their moods and the occasions . This photo is really a bit outdated but its the only one I have.

Scene 2 Act 3

Location: The interior of Shawn’s house

(After standing at the doorway for hours falling in love and all that…)

Shawn finally took the initiative to invite Iris to step over the threshold into his home.
Iris was excited but she tried not to show it. She is curious to know how the home of a Sim as rich as Shawn could look like. Her own home is miserable, furnished with only the barest of the bare essentials and she even has to bathe herself at the sink once because she couldn’t afford a shower…how humiliating life is to her (too bad she exist before author bought Sims University …otherwise she can purchase the cheap dorm shower! *wink*)

The moment Iris stepped into the Keats’ home, she is surprised that it is not as lavish as what she thought…

“Oh no, they must not be as rich as I thought…” Iris’s heart fluttered…
“But I love Shawn now. Well, Medium rich is better than being poor…” The poor girl reasoned quietly to herself.

(Unknown to her, a teen girl was staring at her from the doorway of her room…)

“Iris… come meet my little niece, Jade.” Shawn scrambled to introduce his family members to Iris.

Iris (smiling brightly, remembering all her manners as a hostess): “It’s great to see you, Jade. I heard so much about you…”

Jade (reluctant smile): “Nice meeting you, Ms Bryon. Pls make yourself at home. (Turning to Shawn) Shawn, I need to do my homework. Talk to you later. Have fun with Ms. Bryon.”

Shawn (puzzled by Jade’s lukewarm reaction): “Sure.”

“Iris, Casey, my sister is not at home this moment. I shall introduce you to her another day. Come, let me show you my room.”

Shawn proceeded to bring Iris into his room.

This is just a plain Sims story. I am not taking part in any challenge now.
I realised I just like to write about my Sims family's dramatic daily going on in their lives .

Just a poll:
1. Is story going too slow to arouse ur interests? Should I speed up a little?

For Shawn's love saga, it will take quite a while to develop fully as he has 3 lovers in the pipeline(if you hasn' t realised by now - Lenny, Daniel and Iris)

Pls provide ur opinions and if you like the story. Any comments will be much appreciated .

Scene 3 Act 1
Location: Shawn’s Room


Shawn excitedly showed Iris around his room, even expressing embarrassment at the cold half-eaten pizza on his table. He attempted small talk on why his room look girly as he struggled to pick up the clothes scattered around his room, trying to tidy them up (and failing) .

“My room got flowery tiles ‘cos Casey said its easier to mop them and this tile is the cheapest so…”

Iris remained standing awkwardly in the middle of this messy room...

Shawn decide to abandon his small talk and pounced from behind to kiss Iris. Iris turned around and responded…(30)

Iris (whispering): “Shawn, I love you.”
Shawn (cell phone vibrating for the 25th time since Iris’s arrival): “I love you too darling. I wish we will always be together. You have the prettiest face I saw since I move to Pleasantview”.

In a rare moment of insanity, Shawn proposed an engagement party. Iris was surprised but she quickly accepted.

Scene 3 Act 2
Location: Outside Shawn’s house.

2 hours later, the table was set up for a small buffet, a bartender was hired to mix drinks and the guests dressed in formal arrived…

As the party is hastily organized, Shawn forgot to order some party lights and they has to commence their party in near darkness… (31)

Iris was too happy about her impending engagement to care about such trivial details anyway…

(At this moment, Casey returned home and learnt of the on-going engagement party. She was shocked at the reckless speed of Iris and Shawn’s budding relationship but decide to keep quiet, believing her own failures in love doesn’t give her the right to object to anyone’s love life. It is good that the party is shrouded in darkness, concealing her woeful and yet concerned face.

( Side note: Will her silence result in tragedy for Iris and Shawn? Only time and earl2blue shall reveal all… )

Casey changed into her formal gown and proceeded to join the party, leaving her personal story for our dear readers for another day and another time)

(Meanwhile Jade was sobbing quietly as she changed into her formal attire. But she bit her lips and managed a tiny smile to herself as she thought of Sophie...She joined the party, glad that there were no lights to betray her red nose and watery eyes)

But what a mistake the guest list turns out to be!

Shawn has invited John Burb! He has heard rumors of a budding romance between Casey and John and want to use the opportunity to bring them together. Shawn thought intelligently to himself, “High time that Casey forget Travis.”

The engagement party was a resounding success. Shawn made a public announcement that he is going to be engaged to Iris and made a grand display of making the engagement promise in front of everyone including the bartender.Iris was also elated that she is getting married to a Rich Sim and most importantly a man she really truly loves. (32).

Iris wondered to herself : “Am I turning into a family Sim?”

Meantime John tries to make small talk with Casey…

A Reluctant Toast

Scene 3 Act 3
Location: Still outside Shawn’s house (although a few party guests are fighting over the single loo in the main house)

John: Casey dear… I am so glad to be here with you now.
Casey: Blast that… I hate having you here. The only reason you are standing next to me is because this is Shawn’s party. You should leave asap."

Casey walked away. John hesitated to follow her…

Meanwhile Jade is in a corner, gobbling down the buffet food thinking furiously to herself…

“Should I toast them…toast… don’t toast…toast…don’t toast…”

A blonde boy glanced at her from across the table and thought to himself,
“She’s cute.”, and smiled secretly to himself.

At this moment, Jade made her decision after some rigorous self-reasoning. “I am toasting them. It’s a gesture of good will and I should be gracious. Shawn has been good to Mama and me .” (33)

Jade went over to toast to Iris. It is an important Sim custom to always toast the lady first and Jade decide she should follow the custom (btw, her relationship with Iris is already -50/0 although Iris’s relationship with Jade is 5/1)

As she commenced the toast, she noticed that Iris is wearing a wedding veil. There was also a wedding cake on the table. She was surprised.

Jade: “Ms. Byron, why are you wearing a wedding veil now? You are not getting married today to Shawn, aren’t you?

Iris (smiles): Yes, it is a last minute decision. Goopy suggested that we get married here and now so that we don’t have to have a separate wedding party again. Shawn thought it’s a great idea so I am in the midst of putting on my wedding accessories now when you called me over…”

Shawn hesitated a moment. He didn’t think it is a great idea … but was persuaded by the crowd (darn Goopy!). Shawn glanced at the master controller for a while …(34)
And decide it is too late to back out now. He should act his role well now. It’s too late now…

Shawn (cutting into the conversation): “Yes, Jade. The wedding is going to be today. And Iris will spend the night here and we shall pick her things up tomorrow. From tomorrow, we shall live together. Oh my, a double bed need to be purchased!... (turns to Iris to discuss about the bed)

Jade forces back a resentful sob and carefully adjusts her expression before turning again to Iris.

Jade: “Let me toast the ravishing bride now! And then she shall get ready to be married to good old Shawn!”

Iris accepted the toast with all the grace of a hostess before moving away to dress in her (maxis default! ) wedding gown.

A Hasty Union

Act 3 Scene 4

Location: Still outside Shawn’s house but a wedding arch has been borrowed from the Rich Family next door for the wedding. Still more guests are fighting over the toilet and some are cursing under their breath about the Keats Family Home having only one loo)

Goopy: “Let us gather around for the commencement of Mr. Shawn Keats and Ms. Iris Bryon’s wedding!”

Iris stepped out. Jade was surprised by how beautiful Iris is after putting on bridal makeup…

Iris stepped under the wedding arch with Shawn and both stared at each other for a few seconds…(35)

Iris: “I do.”
Shawn: “I do… too”.

In 2 seconds, the ceremony was over and the crowd cheered.

The cake was cut by the happily married newly weds.

Shawn proceeded to feed Iris wedding cake and the crowd cheered once again.

Shawn (making his wedding speech): “Iris, we will always be happy together. I shall work hard to be Captain Hero and we can live a rich luxurious life together.” (36)

Iris listened attentively, hanging onto to Shawn’s sweetened words (37).

None of them noticed that Casey and John were arguing in the background…

Act 4 Scene 1

The First Wedding Night

Location: In the Keats’ Family Home. Our esteemed wedding guests are now making their way home after 5 hrs of food, fun and entertainment. Many are glad that they can go home and use their own loos. One guest has wet himself at the party and he brought with him a bad memory of “had an accident during a party" home. Poor Guest! He shall not be named for reasons of privacy but let earl2blue assure you that it is not Goopy (unfortunately).

Despite all these, Iris and Shawn had a “good time” party and both had happy memories of “had a great wedding party” in their heads.

Shawn and Iris are now formally married in a DIY civil ceremony and are (fully?!) prepared for their life as a married couple ahead.

Shawn carried Iris into the house and as he is almost drunk, Iris came close to being killed as Shawn nearly banged her head into the arch of the door…

Iris: “WATCH OUT!”
Shawn: “I am so sorry! A few drops too many… the (sexy) bartender is really good at mixing potent drinks.”

Shawn put Iris down once they crossed the threshold into the living room and Shawn kissed Iris romantically.

Meanwhile, his cell phone had died from the insistent vibration …

Neither of them noticed that Casey had run sobbing into her room after the party or that Jade had left the party quietly after the wedding ceremony.

Dear Diary Part 5

Casey’s Revelations

Dear Diary,

I am so angry and vexed. I just saw John Burb at Shawn’s wedding. Darn, why is he invited? Anyway, he tried to reconcile with me saying he loves me more than Jennifer Burb…but I refuses to forgive. How could I?

We argued and John scolded me for being an unforgiving tart before stomping off. Such… such… such… atrocity when he is the one at fault! I am so upset!!!

Shawn’s wedding party is a success and Iris has moved in with us. I welcome her and hope that her marriage to Shawn will be blissful. Shawn will surely make a wonderful husband unlike that jerk, Travis. I hate Travis! I hate John!

Side note: Following this angry outburst, Casey threw down her diary and proceed to beat the living daylights out of her poor teddy bear, smashing it against the wall rapidly till the a red ghost arises out of the teddy bear. Poor teddy bear just got killed .

The very next day…

Casey woke up early next morning with the angry red ghost of the teddy bear hanging over her. But Casey didn’t notice the ghost. She went through the ghost and still in her underwear, proceeded to look through the telescope that she bought 2 days ago.

She was admiring the clouds when an elderly man dressed in red stomped up to her.

“Hey, woman, why are you peeking into my mansion with your telescope? What is it that you want?”

Casey turned around and was shocked to find herself staring into the face of an angry man(40). She turned speechless and was promptly shoved by the man twice. Casey wailed in distraught. Why is she so unlucky? First she was dumped twice and now an angry man is shoving her. What has she done? She hasn’t done anything to anyone.

The angry man softened upon seeing the sad tears of Casey.
His tone softened and he apologized.

“I am sorry… I didn’t mean to make you cry. But there have been sightings of people peeking into my mansion every now and then. I thought you are one of them. Erm… probably you are not…ahem…I guess you must be looking at the clouds instead, right?”

Casey looked up and muttered “Yea.”

The man proceeded to introduce himself.

“I am Morty Goth. You are…?”

“Casey, Casey Keats.”

Thus is the first encounter of Casey Keats with Mortimer Goth.
